A Gilded Christmas Tree

Hello, Janice here with you again to share my latest card
made for the Dies R Us Inspirational Blog.

After recently seeing the card Connie made HERE using her gilding flakes, it made me
want to dust mine off and get playing!

I first started with a 7"x5" cream card base. Using a piece of green card, I used the
largest die from the Lawn Fawn - Large Stitched Rectangle Stackable.
Next I cut a smaller piece of the cream card, and ran it through my Cuttlebug Snowflake
embossing folder and attached to the green card, using a smaller piece of card (the type at the back of a writing pad) which raises it slightly.

To make the Christmas tree, I cut a piece of card the size of the tree die, covered it with double sided sticky sheet and then attached my gilding flakes, burnishing off the excess.

Next, using the Memory Box - Flowering Christmas Tree, I placed it on the card and
ran it through my die cutting machine.

I then adhered the tree directly to the embossed card, added a few gold gems
and stamped the sentiment.

Here are the dies I have used:-
