Fall is in the air

Hi everyone, Deanna here with another project for the Dies R Us Inspirational Blog.  Here is what I have for you today.

To make this card, I started with a piece of patterned paper and die cut my leaf out using the Poppystamps Majestic Maple Die. (You will notice that I cut it out of a different piece of patterned paper the first time and decided I didn't like it so I did it again out of the polka dot piece a bit later).

Next I took a piece of 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" Distress Water Color paper and using Ripe Persimmon, Rusty Hinge, and Vintage Photo created a background for my leaf.
Once I had the background completed, I used the Memory Box Open Studio Stitched Squared Dies to cut a smaller background piece for my leaf die. (This picture shows the first leaf I cut).  I used the third die from the largest to cut my square.  I attached my leaf to the square with some foam tape and finished it off with some gold, glittered enamel dots.

To finish the card I used the smallest rectangle die in the Memory Box Open Studio Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut a piece for my sentiment.  I stamped my sentiment, Fall with embossing ink and used some fine detailed gold embossing powder to emboss my sentiment.
