Sunflower Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman back today sending you some Sunflower Birthday Wishes.

At this time of year, a bright cheery card is needed so I created a card from tan cardstock.
Die cut the top orange layer using the diagonal die. Mat this panel with green cardstock for contrast, then assemble the card.

Stamp Lawn Fawn Sunflowers, leaves and pots with black ink, then color with Copic Markers, or another marker of choice.  Colored pencils would also work well.

Use the coordinating dies to die cut all the pieces..

Stamp a birthday sentiment on white cardstock and die cut with an oval die.  Mat with a larger die using green cardstock and add to the card using foam adhesives for dimension.

Arrange the sunflowers in a pleasing manner on the card, layering the sizes for dimension.  At this point, I decided I did not want to use the flower pots so I put them aside for another project.

Add stickles to the center of the flowers.

Heart Valentine

 Hello Friends,

Diane here to share some card inspiration.  Today I have a sweet Valentine to share with you using the  Tutti designs Cross Stitch Nesting Heart Die from Dies R Us.  I really love this stackable heart die set.  The little cross stitch detail adds that extra texture to any project.  A must have in your crafty stash!

As you can see I did some heart layering with the Cross Stitch Nesting Hearts die.  I added some flowers, lace, a sentiment and created a pretty little Valentine.

Here you can see a closer look at the beautiful stackable heart die.

Lawn Fawn Lift The Flap Tree Card

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's Rosie here sharing a card I made using Lawn Fawn Dies and Stamps. I love the cuteness factor and versatility of their stamps and dies. They are usually my go-to company when I want to create something adorable. Today, I'm featuring the Lift The Flap Tree Backdrop Die, along with Fairy Friends and Cheery Christmas Stamps.

Let's get started!

Step 1: I cut the Lift The Flap Tree die from brown cardstock and the Meadow Backdrop from green cardstock. I cut a piece of light blue cardstock for the sky to go behind the brown tree die-cut once I start assembly.

Step 2: I stamped the characters from Fairy Friends and Cheery Christmas on Xpress It Blending Card and colored them with Copic Markers.

Step 3: I traced around the dark brown trees onto light brown cardstock and then trimmed the tree shapes to go behind the dark brown die-cut.

Step 4: As you can see in this photo, I adhered the light brown trees to the die-cut using foam tape.

This is what it looks like from the front.

Step 5: I cut a Meadow Backdrop from green cardstock. I then trimmed off the bottom section to use on my card. The sentiment is from the Fairy Friends Stamp Set.

Step 6: I adhered the green grass panel to the top of the tree panel with additional foam tape.

This is what it looks like once adhered.

Step 7: Next I added foam tape around the edge of the Lift The Flap Tree die-cut and attached the blue sky cardstock.

Step 8: Now comes the fun part...adhering all the characters and flowers to the card front to create a magical forest scene!

Here you can see the cute characters that are hiding inside the tree.

Suspended Shaker

Hi everyone today I am back with a suspended shaker lately I have been obsessed with using acetate to create these sort of see through cards.  So today I used a variety of dies from the Dies R Us store to create a sort of shaker piece card.

I colored the entire back piece yellow to draw attention to the centerpiece since it would be see through
I then added some acetate to the back pieces and used some foam to give my shaker piece some added height
Next I colored the center piece with my copics for some added color

Here you can see and then I created a extra layer and placed it over the back piece for the shaker element.

I hope everyone enjoyed my post!!

Creative Expressions - Happy Birthday Edger Die as a Card Front

Hello! It's Amanda from Rise and Procraftinate back with another card. I hope you are all having a great Friday so far. Today, I am showing off the Creative Expressions' Happy Birthday Edger die and I have paired it with the Scrapman Balloons die. The Happy Birthday Edger die is so large and intricate it can be a whole card front in and of itself. However, I thought it would be fun to add a little something else to it. There are really so many different ways to use this die, but I figured that coming out of the Christmas season where so many of us are feeling creatively drained, it would be nice to have a quick, simple card we can throw together for those birthdays that come right after Christmas, but still have a nice card to give.

I have prepared a quick video tutorial for you today. Below that, will be a few more finished product pictures as well as the supply list. I hope you enjoy!
