Howdy!

Howdy, fellow crafters!  It's Julie with you today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  When Dies R Us ran a special a while back on some Cheery Lynn dies, I grabbed a Clarabell the Cow die.  I live in Wisconsin, the dairy state, so it was a must have!  The die is no longer in stock, but Dies R Us carries many other wonderful Cheery Lynn dies.
.

Here are the supplies I used:

I cut out Clarabell the Cow (here's a link to a similar Cheery Lynn die, Thomas the Turtle).  Next, I cut out a Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangle.
Here's everything cut out, needing to be assembled:

The cow needed some eyes, so I used a Viva Decor Turquoise Pearl Pen.
Everything got glued down with the Best Glue Ever.

When you drink some milk or eat some ice cream, think of me here in the Dairy State, and say, Howdy!

Happy Summer

Hi everyone!! Dawn here with you today and I have a Happy Summer card to share with you.

Here are the dies and stamps that I used:

I stamped the stamps onto some white cardstock and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  I then attached them to the white scalloped square.

I then cut out the scalloped squares that I wanted to use out of different color card stock:

For my card base I layered some red and some red gingham card stock on top of my card base of 6x6:

I then layered the scalloped squares die cuts on top of the card base:

Below are the supplies that I used to make the card:

Lawn Fawn - Happy Summer Stamps

Lawn Fawn - Happy Summer Dies

Elizabeth Craft Designs - Dies - Dotted Scallop Squares

Bee Happy

Hello Dies R Us Fans!  Lori here today with a fun card I made with newly released Tutti Designs Honeycomb die!!

For this A2 card I started with White card stock for the base of the card.  I took some yellow Core'dnations paper and the Honeycomb embossing folder and ran it through my Big Shot. I inked the edges with Black ink and added that to the card.

I took some Neenah Solar White paper and the Tutti Designs Honeycomb die and ran that through my Big Shot.  I took my Copic markers and colored in the flowers and the bee.  I took the Wild Honey distress ink and rubbed it on the Honeycomb die and then I added it to the Black Shimmer paper and cut that out with the Memory Box Stitched Circle dies and then added that to the center of the card. I placed some pink and purple gems in the center of the flowers.  I took some Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter drops and added that to the bees wings and let that dry.  I took some white paper and the Impression Obsession Pinked Stitched Sentiment Banner dies and cut out the banner and then took some Black ink and stamped the sentiment onto the banner and added that beneath the Honeycomb on the card.

Tilda with Butterfly...

Hi ya crafty peeps, I am up sharing my latest make using a super cute stamp and lots of pretty green in the spirit of summer.

The stamp I used is called Tilda with Butterfly and the card base and background papers are cut with the die set by Sue Wilson Designs - Noble Dies Double Pierced Rectangle. How did I make this card? See the steps below.
1. Color you image and select die for background and card base then cut them out. Cut I extra of the base card in white and cut into strips.
3. Put card base and background paper together. Take the strips and cut 2 lengths the same width of your background paper and add to card front.
4. Cut small square of background paper and adhere to white card base paper. Cut excess enough to leave a border all the way arround. Add pop up dot to back. Turn square on it's side and adhere to card then adhere your image on top of that.
5. You are finished.

My supply list is as follows.

Split Card Design

Tracy here today with a different type of card. It's called a Split Card Design that I found on YouTube. These types of cards are perfect for die cuts. The top piece of the card is actually split in half and held together with the die cuts so that it opens all together.

I started by cutting out the clouds and grass using both cardstock and vellum. You don't have to use vellum, I just liked the look of it. I used stitched curves dies for the clouds and plain curves for the grass. Once you've got them cut out you need to fold over the left side of the die cuts and position it where you want it on a coordinating piece of cardstock which will be the inside of the card. The flaps you created will then be glued to the back left of the cardstock.

Once that was done I cut out my flamingos.

I put my flamingos together and then positioned them on the top of the card so that the heads were adhered to the clouds and the feet adhered to the grass. This holds your two split pieces together so you can open the card as one piece. Then you will need a base to adhere everything to and it also covers up where you adhered the cloud and grass flaps. I stamped and embossed the sentiment and then used a black glaze pen to draw the birds and also the eyes of the flamingos. I then went one step further and die cut another set of flamingos and added them to the inside of the card directly behind the flamingos on the front of the card. It dresses up the inside and covers up the glue on the vellum.

I hope this makes sense to you but if not you can always check out one of the videos on YouTube. I happen to like the one by Jennifer McGuire.
