Spring Floral Get Well Card

 Hello Friends,

Diane here on the Die R Us blog to share with you a pretty Spring Floral Get Well card.  I know a lot of us struggle with sinus issues this time of year and sometimes we really don't feel that great.  Here is a quick card you can make for a friend or loved one who might need a little cheering up.  I hope this card will get those crafty mojos movin'.

Card Instructions:

Using 110 lb white card stock, cut a piece that measures 4 7/8 X 12, score at 6 and fold in half.  Here is your card base.  The patterned paper I used for this card is by Prima Marketing called "With Love".  I selected the printed puffy heart paper for bottom layer because it has a lot of different colors in it.  I used the die set below from Creative Expressions by Sue Wilson called Scalloped Lattice Frames - Set B to cut the bottom layer of my card.  I selected the second to the smallest frame die. I purchased this die set from Die R Us.  Here is a photo of this die set:

Run the die with your selected paper and adhere it to your card base.  Next take a piece of solid colored cardstock.  I used a pink shimmer cardstock from Recollections, but you can use whatever you choose.  I took the Lattice die and the smallest frame with my pink shimmer cardstock and ran it though my die cutting machine.  I adhered the panel to my card.  Next I cut out my flowers.  I selected the die set from Karen Burniston called 1026-Flowers and Bee available at Dies R Us.

Select multiple patterned paper and solid paper, cut lots of flowers and some of the leaves.  This way you can play with colors and sizes.  Shape your flowers and then adhere some on top of one another and others, just use a single layer.  I added flat backed pearls to the center of mine.  I played with the presentation of the floral bouquet until I was please and then adhered it to the front of my card.
Now it's time for the sentiment.  I selected the Lawn Fawn, Scripty Sayings stamp set and chose the get well soon sentiment.

I simply stamped this in green ink and cut it out using my paper trimmer.  I popped it up on foam dots and added a tiny flower to one end of the sentiment strip.  That's it.  Card finished.

I hope that you will try this simple design.  Putting this card together was fun and easy and I know that you can do it too.  Thank you for visiting the Dies R Us blog today.  I hope I was able to inspire you with my card.  Hugs,  Diane

Ocean Shadow Box Card

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's Rosie here today with my last DT post for Dies R Us. I had an amazing time with these wonderful ladies on the team, and want to wish the new ladies lots of fun and success! Today, I'm showing how I created this underwater ocean Shadow Box Card using Lawn Fawn products.

Let's Get Started!

Step 1: I cut two pieces of the shadow box frame from the Lawn Fawn Shadow Box Card Dies....one piece forms the front and one forms the back. I used the scallop frame from the Shadow Box Card Ocean Add On Dies to create the opening on the front panel. Then, I measured and cut pieces of decorative paper to glue to the inside back panel to create the ocean backdrop. Originally I was only going to put paper on the very back panel, but then decided to also add paper to the sides.

Step 2: After you glue the decorative paper to the inside, assemble the box. I use Scor-tape because then I don't have to wait for glue to dry.

Step 3: Now comes the fun part....decorating the inside! I cut two waves using the Ocean Add On Dies. I glued one close to the scallop opening. The other one was glued more in the middle of the box. I stamped the scuba diver, fishes, angler fish, and lobster from the Lawn Fawn You Are Sublime Stamps, colored them with Copics, and added them to the inside. I made the scuba diver a girl by adding some lashes. To create depth I add some of the elements on plastic strips and adhere to the back ocean wave panels with foam tape.

Step 4: I added the sentiment strip to the back of the shadow box using plastic strips also.

Here it is all assembled!

These are the products I used:

Wings

Hi everyone Happy Monday.  I am back with another post for Dies R Us using the Frames and Tag die from the Madeleine Sue Wilson collection.

I diecut the first layer of the die using white cardstock and then use some black mirror paper followed by another layer of white cardstock for the center. This die set is so gorgeous it is hard to truly see the true beauty of the set in the photos.
I used some patterned paper from Pinkfresh Studio to create my card which went beautifully with the die and added a sentiment from Scrapiniec to complete the overall look.
I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks so much for stopping by everyone!!

Spring BIrd House

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here spreading happiness with a spring slim line card.

I wanted a spring card and since I have lots of 6x6 paper pads, I decided to combined 2 panels.  I tore the edge of the green panel and placed it on top of the floral paper.

Using the largest Torn Edged Die, I die cut the panel and then also die cut a white panel to create the frame.

Inking the panels with brown ink, I placed the panels on an orange card.

Next, I die cut the birch tress and also die cut and assembled the bird house.

I also die cut the flowers and leaves that come with the bird house set.  As you can see, I left my pieces intact as they are small.  This way I don't lose them!

I used the Birch Tree dies to use as the stake for the bird house, then I placed the bird house on top and added all the embellishments.  Then I added a phrase across the stake.

Thanks for stopping by.

Baby Girl Layered Card

 Hello Friends,

Diane here to share with you my latest card I made using the adorable rocking horse die by Cheapo Dies purchased from Die R Us.  This fabulous little die is perfect for those sweet baby cards, invitations and gender reveal parties.  Come take a look.

I created this card with papers by Doodlebug designs, called "Fairy Tales".  This is an adorable colorful girly paper with lots of unicorns, rainbows, happy clouds, castles and flowers.  I layered up lots of elements for this card design.

Here is a close up of the rocking horse die.  I cut it several times and glued the die cuts together for added dimension.  This card measures 6x6.  The castle paper was cut to about 5 3/4 x 5 3/4.  The purple paper was cut a little smaller and embossed with the ribbons embossing folder.  The banner was cut from the designer paper.  It measures about 2 1/2 x 5. The notebook paper with the hearts at the bottom is an Odds & Ends from the paper collection.  The cross stitched hearts were cut with pink fun foam using the Cross Stitch Nesting Hearts from Tutti Designs purchased from Dies R Us.  The sentiment was stamped in pink ink using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings stamp set.
