Happy New Year, everyone!
Are you going out to celebrate tonight or are you staying home to watch the new year come in while you watch tv & snack? When you live in the colder climates where you have to fight the ice, snow & bitter cold, staying home sure sounds like a lot nicer choice!
I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! And now that Christmas is behind us, I know you are thinking ahead to the next holiday & the cards you will need for Valentine's Day. Today I'm sharing a card I made with one of my favorite Penny Black stamps. Being a "cat" person, I love all the cats they have & this one is no exception. I've used it many times, but I think this is the cutest version I've done yet because of the fantastic dies available! I used only two dies on this card: Impression Obsession Cupids and Cheery Lynn Sweetheart Frame.
I hope you will all head to the Dies R Us store to check out all the fantastic dies available for Valentine's Day! The selection will just amaze you! Trust me, I've been adding a lot of them & will share them over the next few weeks.
Be sure you check out the Dies R Us Challenge Blog too. A new challenge starts tomorrow & runs until the 15th with chances to win vouchers to the store!
Wishing you all the very best for this coming year!

Hugs 2 U!
Greetings Dies R Us friends!
I hope that you all had a wonderful & safe Christmas with all of your family & friends.
I hope that you all had a wonderful & safe Christmas with all of your family & friends.
This week's inspirational DT card for Dies R Us is for all of those friends who I was thinking about over Christmas, but were too far away for me to hug.
Dies used include:
Memory Box Serene Scallop
I used this adorable Octopus from Gerda Steiner Designs to tie in with my sentiment inside the card. I framed and matted the image with the Spellbinders Label 38 and added a couple of Memory Box Serene Scallops for interest. Here is a close up of the cute fellow.
And below is the inside of the card with this adorable sentiment which really makes the card. I used the Docrafts Xcut Circles and the Docrafts Xcut Scalloped Circle to layer the sentiment.
I hope you've had a chance to check out the other amazing creations from all of the other members of the Dies R Us Design Team. Please come back next week for more wonderful inspiration from all of us again and until next week, happy crafting!

Christmas Greetings to All!
Merry Christmas everyone! Robin here with my Thursday inspiration of the week for Dies R Us and it happened to land on Christmas Day! I'm wishing everyone the best of the holidays for you and your families.
For this card I used Memory Box Frostyville Wreath die. I made a white card base and used a red card stock for contrast. I then cut a white piece of card stock slightly smaller than the red and then embossed with a snowflake embossing folder. I heat embossed the greeting in silver and cut it out using a circle from Spellbinders Celebration Circles. I then added my ribbon to the embossed card and added to my card base. The red greeting was added with foam pop ups and the Frostyville Wreath was then added to the edge of my red circle. The card was finished with rhinestones.
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day, Robin

Thank You, Santa!
Merry Christmas, friends!
I know some of you will be so busy you won't see this post today, but I'm hoping when you have a minute to catch up later, you will go back and check out all the wonderful cards our design team has shared this week.
My choice for today's post is a thank you card! Whether you open your gifts tonight or tomorrow morning, I'm sure you will have lots of thank you notes to send to all the wonderful Santa's on your list! And nothing makes someone feel really special quite as much as a handmade thank you. This one goes quickly enough that you can make it for everyone on your list! I have my fellow teammate, Darlene to thank for the inspiration for this card! She posted a Christmas card using the Cheery Lynn Winter Neighborhood Border & I fell in absolute love with it & ordered it the same day. Well, when it arrived, I had also ordered the plane with banner thinking it would be cute for birthdays, get well cards, or just hello. As I was cutting out the dies, I immediately decided it would be perfect for a thank you above that beautiful border of houses!
The dies I used were Cheery Lynn Winter Neighborhood Border, Impression Obsession Plane With Banner & Memory Box Puffy Clouds. Your background can be done in various colors or patterns for even more variety. I'm only posting one version here, but have added several others on my blog so you can see the effect in different colors & patterns. For thank you cards for other occasions, you could easily snip out the trees, leaving just the houses! Or you could do the houses in different colors and add color to your plane as well! With dies, your possibilities are as endless as your imagination!
For those of you lucky enough to get gift certificates to the store, I think your special Santa deserves a hug too!
Let me wish all of you a wonderful, happy & healthy holiday! And I wish with all my heart that the feelings of love for one another that we feel most strongly during this season will somehow last the whole year long!
Blessings to you all,
Sherri

Are you ready???
Hello my friends!
Only a few more days before Santa's arrival ... are you ready?
Well I must admit I'm 'getting closer' to being ready but still NOT QUITE THERE YET! LOL!
Darlene here and it's my turn today to share some inspiration using dies from the Dies R Us store so
I'm kind of 'multi-tasking' at this point in time by creating my
inspiration piece for the design team as well as having more cards ready
to mail.
I'm afraid some of my friends and family will be receiving their Christmas cards late this year but you know what they say ... "better late than never!" With
that being said, I thought the quickest way to create these last minute
(yet beautiful) cards would be by using a printed image and my die
cuts.
What do you think?
I found this beautiful, scenic image over on Pinterest and made it the basis for my cards.
Here are the items used on this card:
Paper: Maja Designs Vintage Frost Basics
Accessories: Stickles 'diamond', sentiment & stamp from same paper pack
It's
so difficult to capture the sparkle on our holiday creations so here's a
little closer look at the sparkle on this card. I just LOVE this
poinsettia die ... so quick & easy and looks beautiful every time!
By simply 'conditioning' the back side of the petals with my stylus, the
flower really POPS and will still lay flat for mailing purposes.
Here's a second card using the same image and paper but I've created a
totally different scene by utilizing a variety of holiday dies. Which
card is your favorite?
Here are the dies used on this card:
Cottage Cuts #CCE-049 'Winter Wonderland Deer' (Special Sale Offer not currently in the store.)
As
you can see above, Dies R Us does offer SPECIALS from time to time
throughout the year for companies that are not always carried in the
store on a day to day basis. YOU can get in on these special offers by
signing up to receive our newsletter and opening an account at the Dies R
Us Store.
We already handle a LONG LIST of popular die company dies and we are adding more all the time!
Did you get in on the wonderful Holiday Specials?? WOWZA!!
We not only have an amazing selection, but fabulously low shipping rates!
If you haven't already ... please come browse around the STORE ... you won't be disappointed!
REMINDER:
NEW CHALLENGES on the 1st & 15th of each month at our Dies R Us Challenge Blog.
Our currently running challenge (through 12/28) is: ANYTHING GOES using your dies.
Now I'd better get these cards in the mailbox before 2015 shows up! LOL!
Happy Cutting and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Here's the close up for the image:
I coloured her using my copics :)

The Last Christmas Tree
Happy Saturday everyone! Sorry not sure what happened but here I am! Robin here with my design of the week for Dies R Us! A week from today it will be too late for a Christmas card, so here is my last super quick card for the season! All that is required is one die and one sentiment!
I started with a white, top fold A2 card base and added a red card stock layer cut slightly smaller than the card base. I cut the tree using Memory Box Sparkling Tree Tile die from white card stock, added a simple sentiment and adhered to my card base. Done in no time!
Be sure to stop by the Dies R Us Challenge Blog! We have a new challenge on the 1st and 15th of each month! You could win a gift card to the Dies R Us shop!

Christmas Snowglobe
Greetings Dies R Us friends & Happy Holidays!
This week's inspirational DT card for Dies R Us was inspired by this adorable snowglobe image from Bugaboo. I thought it would be the perfect image for a shaker card! I'm also super excited to be the Guest DT for Die-Cut-Diva's this week too, whose current 'snow' challenge is sponsored by the totally awesome & very generous Dies R Us!
Dies used include:
I coloured up this sweet Bugaboo Stamp called 'Ava Snowglobe' and used the Docrafts Xcut Nesting Circles on some designer paper to make it look like a snowglobe. I added some acetate film to the back of the DP and raised it with foam tape. I filled the window with some chunky glitters and sequins before layering the DP window over the image.
Here's a close up of the super cute image/snowglobe.
I used the elegant Memory Box Bristol Snowflake on some white shimmer cardstock to add some interest to the front of the card before cutting out strips of brown cardstock for the base of the snowglobe, which were rounded with a corner punch.
There is still time to play along over at the Challenge Blog. Our Anything Goes Challenge #16 will be running through until on December 28. To be in the running for the $10 voucher at the Dies R Us store simply use a die in your challenge entry, how easy is that?! So get your craft on & join in.
Please come back next week for more wonderful inspiration from all of the ladies on the Dies R Us team. Until next week, happy crafting!

Last Minute Fast & Easy!!
Hi, everyone!
Can you believe that next week at this time is Christmas Eve? I can't believe how fast the time has flown! Do you still have cards you need to make to give with special gifts or to send to special friends? Well, I can help you with that today! This card is incredibly fast to make & as you can see, it is beautiful enough for anyone on your list! You need only two dies for this one: Sue Wilson Faux Quilled Leaves & Poppy Stamps Blooming Poinsettia.
If you are giving this in person, you can use your stylus to shape the flower leaves for an even more dramatic look. Since I have to mail this one a long way, I left it flat. By changing the "Merry Christmas" to a "Thank You" this would also be a gorgeous way to thank Santa for a gift!
Be sure you check out all the rest of the week's great ideas from our other designers too! They have some fabulous ideas I know you will love! And if you are ahead of schedule, be sure you take time to enter the latest Dies R Us Challenge that just began on the 15th! And for anyone still needing last minute gifts, a gift certificate to Dies R Us would be an awesome choice!
Catch you again next week! Happy Crafting!

Dashing Through the Snow!
Welcome Back Dies R Us Fans!
It's time once again for me, Darlene, to share a creation using dies purchased from our Dies R Us Store. If you are anything like me, you are still working on those holiday cards for family & friends. I must admit this card came together quite quickly by using only my die cuts to create a scene. No 'coloring' involved ... well, maybe a little touch of Stickles sparkle but that's all!
The dies I have used today are:
Spellbinder S6-015 - Snowflake View (sorry, not current available)
Die-namites DN-1206 - Merry Sleigh
Die-namites DN-1219 - Floral Deer
Memory Box #98546 - Precious Stars
Like I mentioned earlier, I used Stickles to adorn the sleigh as well as create the reins to the deer. Of course I had to pick up a bottle that wasn't full so it came out not as smoothly as I would have liked, but you get the idea!
I actually used the NEGATIVE portion of the middle size Snowflake View die set for the background on the front of my card ... and the actual cut out portion for the sentiment on the inside of the card. LOVE when you can utilize both portions of a die cut.
I hope you have found inspiration in today's card and please be sure to come back each day for new inspiration from my team mates! We each have our 'own style' and I'm sure you'll find something that catches your attention.
Remember our CHALLENGE BLOG ... new challenges on the 1st & 15th of each month. Why not come join in the fun. Use your die cuts and YOU could be our LUCKY WINNER!!
I'll be back again next Tuesday ... hope to see you then!

Are you ready for Christmas? :)
Hi friends!! It's Mikha again :)
Today it's my turn to host Dies R Us Inspirational Blog.
And I'm gonna show you a super quick card, only need to cut, glue and run your bigshot a little :)
Here's what I did:
I cut super cute images from Doodlebug pattern paper. There's still plenty cuteness on this paper!! :D
Then I cut 4 Docrafts - Xcut Nesting Dies - Postage Stamp, and glued them together.
I pick a maroon cardstock, then emboss it using Cuttlebug's embossing folder.
And in the end, arrange them, adding a little shiny things; glitter, rhinestones and pearls!
Viola, your chrismas card is ready in no time :) :)
Want to give it a try? :)
And please don't forget to come back tomorrow. You wouldn't want to miss what our Darlene's gonna share!!

Have a nice holiday!

To Teach
Greetings Dies R Us friends!
This week's inspirational DT card for Dies R Us is a card I made for my daughter's school teacher as this is the final week of the school year here.
Dies used include:
I used a Bugaboo kid's pocket topper called 'Wavy Girl' and coloured her up with the same beautiful strawberry blonde hair that my daughter has using Copics. I framed her simply with Docrafts Xcut Nesting Ovals and Docrafts Xcut Nesting Scalloped Oval before layering the image onto my designer paper (which was a magazine freebie!). Here is a close up of the cute image.
I embossed the beautiful 'To teach is to touch someone's heart forever' sentiment prior to cutting with the Spellbinders Modern Stationary. I finished the card off with a little plaid ribbon and some twine in a cute apple button.
A brand new challenge is starting on Monday over at the Challenge Blog. Challenge #16 is 'Anything Goes'. To be in the running for the $10 voucher at the Dies R Us store simply use a die in your challenge entry. S please check it out on Monday as there is some exceptional DT creations from the talented Team B. And please come back here on Monday to see Mikha's next unbelievable creation. Merry Christmas Time is Here!
Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my latest design for Dies R Us! You still have time to order your dies AND make your holiday cards! Dies R Us has so many holiday dies to choose from it's hard to decide which one to get...so pick up a few! Dies R Us has great prices and shipping is FREE with a $35 purchase or more!
This simple and quick card uses the Poppystamps Magnificent Merry die along with Tailored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1. Create an A2 top fold card base from white card stock. Then cut two layers one from a matte silver and one from a designer paper; adhere both layers together. Cut your "merry" from red card stock, lightly sponge the top with white ink and adhere to your sandwiched layers. I used GIANT red rick rack and white grosgrain ribbon wrapped around the bottom of the layer.
Attach the layer to your card base with foam pop-ups, stamp your sentiment and then cut out with your tag die. Add the tag to your card with a glue dot and finish with a red gem.
Don't forget to check out our Challenge Blog for a chance to win a gift card! Take a look at the Dies R Us Blog for some great inspiration from our amazing design team members.

Silent Night!
Hello, friends!
Well, I'm guessing you have been checking this blog each day for some great last minute ideas for your cards, haven't you? At this point in time, I think we are all looking for ideas that we can use to put a card together that is not only quick, but more importantly, GORGEOUS! I think this card may be just the thing you need. It can be done quickly with just 3 dies and looks like something you spent hours & hours working on! The three dies I used were: Impression Obsession Fir Trees, Impression Obsession Small Snowflakes, and Impression Obsession Small Deer.
Here is a closeup of the snowflake. There are five snowflakes of varying sizes in the set & I used the largest 3 & layered them for this beautiful snowflake.
I hope I have given you some new ideas! Be sure to check out the Dies R Us Challenge Blog too! There is still time to enter the current challenge & win a great gift voucher you can use at the store!
Until next week, happy crafting everyone!

The three dies I used were: Impression Obsession Fir Trees, Impression Obsession Small Snowflakes, and Impression Obsession Small Deer.
To create this beautiful scene, I cut my green background 1/4 inch smaller than my card. I then cut another piece of my white cardstock 1/4 inch smaller than the green mat & cut 2 of the largest trees from the Impression Obsession Fir Tree set directly into the center of it. After gluing the white cardstock with the 2 trees cut from it directly onto my green, I then glued the 2 white trees that were created with my original cut directly onto the card overlapping the green trees. All I had left was to add the deer and the beautiful snowflake. Both the snowflake & white trees were coated with Wink of Stella for more shine & sparkle!

Time to Decorate the Tree . . .
Good Day Dies R Us Friends!
Darlene here with a creation to inspire you to get those holiday cards started (if you're running behind...like me)! When you are a card maker, friends & family just don't understand receiving a store bought card anymore and rightfully so! Especially when there are so many beautiful dies and embossing folders available to make your own (more personal) creations for them!
That is why today I decided to create with both, die cuts and an embossing folder!
Have you seen all the fabulous Darice embossing folders available at our Dies R Us store? Unfortunately I believe this Darice #1215-56 'Christmas Tree' folder is sold out but please check into all the others Darice embossing folders available. So many that you're sure to want available in your stash for creating in the new year!
I just love making these poinsettia's using the Cheery Lynn Designs #B324 'Poinsettia Strip'. It's designed that you can either stack them to create one full & luscious flower ... or as I did, create two flowers out of one cut. These are the three most commonly seen colors of poinsettias at holiday time so I decided to combine all three to accent today's creation. For the leaves I have used the leaf dies in the Sweet Dixie SDD019 'Daisy Set'. A little touch of Stickles sparkle for the flower centers and tree bulbs was all the extra I thought this creation needed.
I hope you have found inspiration in today's creation and we look forward to having you share YOUR creations with us at the current Dies R Us Challenge Blog challenge ... which happens to be Winter Wonderland and runs through the 13th.
Remember you can stop back here any day of the week (Mon-Fri) for NEW and EXCITING inspiration from me and my team mates! We each have our own unique style so I'm sure you'll see something to strike your fancy!
I'll be back next Tuesday ... please stop back tomorrow to see the AMAZING creation Sherri has to share with you (lol ... I've already had a peek!) Happy Cutting Everyone!

This week's inspirational DT card for Dies R Us is a juicy little centre step card for an adorable little girl's first birthday, which is fun and easy too.

Happy Christmas
Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with a Christmas inspiration card for Dies R Us! The holiday are definitely upon us, no stopping them now! So, could you use a few quick cards?Well, this design is for you!
Using just two dies you can put together this card in no time! I started with a white cardstock and used an all over stamp to create my background. I cut out the Memory Box Grand Happy Christmas from my background and layered it onto a tone on tone dark blue polka dot paper. I then cut the village from the same blue cardstock using Impression Obsession's Town Scene die; I backed the die cut with yellow paper and added to the front of my card.
To finish my card I added a gem stone to "dot" the i in Christmas! Don't forget to sometimes keep it simple and take some stress out of your life!
Take a look at the Dies R Us Blog for some great inspiration from our amazing design team members. Then head on over to our store, Dies R Us, pick up a few dies and you are ready to get to town on your holiday cards! Shipping is FREE with a $35 purchase!
Until next week, thanks for stopping by, Robin

"Whatcha" Up To?
Hello friends!
Welcome back! Can you believe Thanksgiving is already behind us & it is December already? I'm getting really in the mood for Christmas now! I put my tree and decorations up after Thanksgiving as Christmas is and always will be my favorite time of the year. I ADORE Christmas! And once I get every room in my house decorated, I'm ready to work on my cards again. Today's card is made using one of my favorite digi stamps from Sassy Cheryl. I love this friendly little snowman sitting in the tree visiting with his little friends. To complete my card I used the following dies: Impression Obsession Pine Branch, Impression Obsession Small Snowflakes & Impression Obsession Fir Trees.
I LOVE this Impression Obsession Pine Branch for Christmas cards! Add a little snow or glitter to it & it looks like the real thing!
We just started another challenge on Monday on our Dies R Us Challenge Blog too, so head on over there to join in for a chance to win a gift voucher! And don't forget to clue "Santa" in to the fact that Dies R Us also has gift certificates!
Don't forget to check out the wonderful inspirations from our great Dies R Us Design Team! Half of my wish list is created once I check them out! lol It always helps to see someone else's version of a die.
I'll be back again next Wednesday. Until then, have fun creating something wonderful!

Poinsettias and Holly
Hello Dies R Us Friends!
Well here we are in December and if this month goes by as quickly as the summer months did, Christmas will be here in a FLASH!!
Today
I (Darlene) have a relatively simple design to share with you using my die cuts
and left over design papers/card stock. Please remember to pop over any day
of the week (Mon - Fri) for new inspiration from each of our DT
members!
With all the
creations I've been making for craft shows, my mountain of scraps has
grown and I just HAD to reduce it down to a smaller 'mountain' ... lol!
Anyways ... here's what I've come up with ... hope you like it!
The dies used on today's card creations are:
Cheery Lynn Designs - B186 - Merry Christmas Set
(Unfortunately, this die set is no longer available at DRU. But there are several others that would work just as well!)
Scraps of Christmas design paper and green
card stock were used on the background. As well as scraps of red and
white card stock was used for the sentiment and flowers. A touch of
Stickles was used in the center of each flower.
Feel free to click on either of the individual card images for a larger (closer) look. I just love this flower strip die ... I made these flowers in NO TIME AT ALL!
Please be sure to pop over to our STORE and check out all the amazing dies available. And, don't forget to come join in our challenge fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.
New challenges on the 1st and 15th of each month. YOU could be the
lucky winner of a Dies R Us Store Gift Voucher just for playing along!!
And what better way to use & share inspiration with die cuts!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I wish you a FABULOUS week ahead!
