And this sexy lady is drawn by JadeDragonne. Please pay visit on her DeviantArt page. You  sure will love what she put there!!

Dies I used are:
and cute Bird Cage from Joy Craft!!
Sometimes, in an unexpected time, we're opening Pre Order for European dies, like Joy, Marriane and many mores. So stay tune and join our news letter ;)

And here's the picture when I put in on frame. OMG, so bad picture taking, LOL.
I took this one in the night, while the details in the morning.

I looove this part. I made and arrange this embellishments myself. I put some charms on a modif and vintage safety pin. It has 3 little circles, and I just filled 2 of 3 with charms. And put little bird from Bird Cage-Joy Craft set.

I also put a paperclip here and some flowers. My friend said the clip is weird, but I just love it, idk. LOL.

Simple Sympthy

Greetings Dies R Us friends.

I hate making sympathy cards as it's never nice to have to say goodbye to someone.
Here is a quick and  simple card which is elegant and classic.

Dies used include:

After cutting the papers to size the edge of the designer paper has been sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and distressed before sewing around the edges. After attaching the die cuts, I've finished it off  with a simple sentiment and also by adding some Liquid Pearls to give it a bit of a lift.

Dies R Us has also introduced a great loyalty rewards program too. For every dollar spent 1 point is earned which can be redeemed later. All details about the program can be found here.

Happy crafting.

Same Stamp Different Look!

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my weekly inspiration for Dies R Us. The image is the same Penny Black stamp I used last week but I created a totally different look with a simple technique.

To create the background I used a painters tape technique! I included a Youtube link in case you are interested in using this technique which is a really fun and simple way to make backgrounds. I stamped the Penny Black image with black ink and cut the word "happy" from card stock.  The Happy is a die from Avery Elle-ments Simply Said, the word is layered on to a vellum banner and attached to the card using clear foam tape. A simple sentiment was stamped under the banner and I added some Candi embellishments to finish the card.

Have you stopped by the DRU Challenge Blog? We have 2 challenges a month; that's 2x the chances of winning a gift certificate to Dies R Us.

Until next week…thanks for stopping by, Robin

Ready to Party?

Hi, everyone!

Are you ready to party today?  I am!  The week is half over and that should be reason enough to celebrate all by itself!  What do you say we join some cute little bears who are ready to celebrate a birthday?
When I saw this cute digi by Sassy Cheryl, I knew I had to get it.  Not only do all kids love teddy bears, but there are a lot of adults who have collected them all their lives!   The dies I used on this one are as follows:
Spellbinders A2 Valiant Honor and Memory Box Happy Birthday Garland.

There are 4 beautiful dies with the Spellbinders A2 Valiant Honor and I used 2 of them on the inside of the card.  I love to decorate the inside as well as the outside to make the card REALLY special for the person who is getting it.  And with these beautiful dies, it is so quick & easy to do!

Hopefully, you have already checked out the beautiful inspirations from earlier in the week & will be back again tomorrow & Friday too.  Our designers are working hard to give you lots of fun ideas. Our Dies R Us Challenge Blog is another fun thing you can check!  You could be the lucky winner of a gift certificate!

Don't forget to check out the store for all the latest dies too.  We now carry dies from 35 different companies all under one store and we are adding new companies all the time!  Think of the convenience AND savings this is for you!  And free shipping over $35 domestic and $50 international. How sweet it is!

See you next week with some new ideas!  Have a great week & happy crafting and cutting!!

Sunset at the Shore . . .

Happy Tuesday Dies R Us Fans!
Darlene here with you again today, sharing a little summertime inspiration.

The first thing I wanted to use for my card today is this fabulous Cheery Lynn Designs 'Lighthouses' (set of 2) #B384.  Then I just started building my seaside scene from there.

My background scene was created using the Memory Box 'Findlay Frame' #98540.  The center panel cuts out so I simply sponged layers of Tim Holtz distress inks to create the sunset and adhered it back into the cut out.  I wish you could see the embossing detail on this lighthouse ... really cool!

Other dies used are:
Joy! Craft 'Summer Lovin' Flip Flops'

From time to time, the store opens a PRE-ORDER for European dies such as Marianne, Joy! Crafts, and many others.  So be watching for those pre-order sales because they are a LIMITED TIME offer.  To be sure you don't miss out, pop on over to the store and sign up for our newsletter.

Well busy day ahead so I'd best get movin'!
If you haven't played along in our challenges at our DIES R US CHALLENGE BLOG please pop over and check it out.  We'd love to see your creations and you have a chance of winning a gift voucher to the Dies R Us Store!

Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see what Sherri has created!
I tell you ... these ladies are so talented they are certainly keeping me inspired!

I will see you again next Tuesday!

It's a small one, with 10x12.5 cm wide :)
I used Magnolia image this time, Tilda with Bowknot, masked with cute cat I forgot the name; LOL.

And the dies I used are:
The butterflies are punched with Martha Stewart's.

Coloured her with Copics, then added stickles on her lace, hat and flower.
I hand-stitched all over the image :)

Added dots on the butterflies with liquid pearl.

And then put some flowers here, not to forget the sparkle :)

Wishing You... shaker card

Greetings Dies R Us fans, followers and crafty visitors.

I had my almost-7-year-old daughter in my studio with me wasting time as I was refusing her to watch anymore TV than she already had! It wasn't long until she caught sight of my new Dream Catcher die & wanted to make something with it. I'd always wanted to do a shaker cards & knew that she'd love to have a play with the sequins etc. So with her help in hand and her in charge with selecting papers/sequins etc we set about making this card together!

Dies used include:

After selecting the colours we cut the shaker frame from cardstock using the nest of Docrafts Xcut  Rectangle Parenthesis #2, including a separate acetate sheet used as the front of the shaker window. We layered this over a glitter cardstock because you can't have too much sparkle!

My daughter had a lovely time carefully adding all of the colour coordinated sequins to the shaker frame before we enclosed it. We then simply added the Taylored Expressions Dream Catcher to the centre of the shaker frame and added a splash of Liquid Pearls & a sentiment.

The inside of the card utilised the center offcut from the shaker frame too!

We are up to our 4th challenge too which is currently Weddings, which will be open until June 28. So pop over to join in on the fun! And don't forget to check out the store for these dies & hundreds more from your favorite names.

Simply Made...

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my Dies R Us inspiration for the week. The Simply Made card was designed around the Avery Elle die set called Elle-ments Pinked. You should see this set of dies, so many elements to choose for your cards and the edges are pinked!
I started with embossing a Penny Black image, then used Distress inks for a blended background. Then over stamped with a JustRite background stamp using Tea Dye Distress ink. After wiping the excess ink from the image, I cut the image out using the largest die from the set. The smallest of the included dies was stamped with a sentiment from Avery Elle "Thanks a Bunch" stamp set.

Be sure you signed up for the Dies R Us Newsletter! You will be kept up to date on specials, discounts and all the latest in dies. And DRU has free shipping when you spend $35 or more!

Until next week…thanks for stopping by, Robin

Come Look Out My Window!

Hello, again!

And welcome back to the Wednesday post of our Inspiration Blog!  Whether you are a first time visitor, or a regular, be sure you check out the postings for the entire week!  We have a great bunch of gals who are full of ideas to jump start your card making & crafting & get your creative juices going into overdrive!

Today I'm going to share a birthday card.  Although my first intention was to make this open at the top, because of the size of the die, I knew I would have to go with a side opening instead.  In one of my earlier posts, I told you how to make these lacy cards into frames, so I won't repeat myself.

For today's card, I used Spellbinders Reflective Moment, Cheery Lynn Lace Corner Deco B and Die-namites Spring Window.  I admit, I had looked at the Spellbinder Reflective Moment several times and not ordered it because I thought it might be too large for a card, but that is NOT the case at all!  I will be ordering more of this size as they are perfect!

As you can see from the top of this card, it opens from the side.  when it is closed, all you will see is the beautiful lacy frame.  I cut the Spring Window die twice.  Once in black & once in green.  I wanted the vines to be green & it was easy to snip them from the green cut & glue them over the original black die.

Using one of the three dies that come in the Lace Corner Deco B set, I applied those to the corners & finished it off with the smallest die from the Reflective Moment set which I popped up on pop dots.

Nothing hard or complicated and you end up with a beautiful card that will impress someone with how creative you are!  That's the beauty of using dies!

Don't forget to stop at our store & check out all the hundreds of dies we carry in stock.  And when you have finished shopping, be sure to stop at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for a chance to win a prize!

Until next Wednesday, have a great week & happy cutting!

Just Married!

Hello Dies R Us Fans!
Darlene here, and it's my day to share a card creation of inspiration.

Have you checked out our STORE?   So many FABULOUS dies available all in one location!
And don't forget to come join in the fun at our new
CHALLENGE BLOG!

Last week I shared a little more intricate wedding card and today I have a CAS style wedding card that is great for those times when you've either forgotten until the last minute ... or maybe your wedding mojo just isn't working!

For this card, I created the 'sunset' background using Tim Holtz distress inks, sponge daubers and post-it notes.  (doesn't get much easier than that!)   And, the dies I have used are:

As you can see, I reused the double hearts that pop out of the die for the embellishment in the upper left corner.  What fun is that!
Remember, if the die you are wanting is Out of Stock, simply click on the 'Put Me On The Waiting List' tab and you will be notified via email when it is back in stock.

Here's a helpful hint!
When using the smaller more intricate words/letter/numbers add Scor Tape to the back of the cardstock you'll be cutting from ... then die cut your phrase.  Remove your words and the STICKY is already on the back ... just apply it to your creation.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and please tell your friends about our STORE, INSPIRATION BLOG and CHALLENGE!  We'd love to have you join in our fun!

Till next time . . .

The Greatest Gift

Greetings Dies R Us fans, followers and visitors.

Today's inspirational card is a special gift for a wonderful friend who is expecting the greatest of gift of all! As she does not know what she is having, I've kept my colours neutral but nice and bright too.

Dies used include:

spellbinders grand label one

I've used the Spellbinders Grand Label One to create the base of the card. This is a wonderful nest of dies which are great to create cards that are not square or rectangular, but still giving you lots of room to work with.

This blooming image is 'The Greatest Gift' from Sassy Studio Designs, and I've coloured her with my favorite medium, Copics! Here is a close up of this blossoming lady.

After matting the image on a couple of coordinating colours, I simply added the Memory Box Precious Mobile with a cluster of flowers cut from the Impression Obsession Layered Floral Set. I've finished this card off with a splash of Kindyglitz & Liquid Pearls in the centres of the flowers. Here is a closer look at both the Mobile & the Flowers.

4th of July

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my inspiration of the week for Dies R UsAlthough Memorial Day is the official start of summer in the US, I never feel it's summer until the 4th of July!   We have a weather pattern here in Southern California that usually shows up in May and June called a marine layer. The marine layer makes the days overcast so we call it "May Grey or June Gloom".  By July the June Gloom is gone and it's bright and sunny all day and we are ready for bar-b-ques, get togethers and such.

My card started with stamping the Graphic Greeting Patriotic stamp, from Taylored Expressions onto kraft paper.  I then cut out the stamped image using Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles and sponged the edges. After making my card base from red, white and blue patterned paper I added the Border Carnivale die cut, from Cheery Lynn and a canvas ribbon.  The stamped image was embellished with star brads.  TIP: The white star brad didn't quite match the off white in the card so I colored it with a Copic marker for a better match!

I hope you have been checking out the Design Team's cards each week for some great inspiration!  AND check out our Challenge Blog! Twice a month you have a chance of being chosen for a gift certificate to Dies R Us!

Until next week…thanks for stopping by, Robin

Tiptoe Through The Tulips!

Hi, everybody!

Are you ready for another Wednesday inspiration today?  I sure hope so!  Today I want to show you just how beautiful your cards can be by using just 2 amazing Spellbinder dies, the Spellbinders Floral Oval and the Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders Two.  Both of these are among my favorites & should be in your collection too!

I began today's card by cutting a 6 inch card from white cardstock. I also cut a 6 inch square from red gingham. I decided which edge I wanted on my finished card & put that edge along the very bottom of the red gingham square & cut it. I used that same edge on the white cardstock next.  I also ran another piece of gingham through with the same edge die I used on the bottom.  Along with that, I chose one of the cutouts in the die set and cut that in white. By layering and alternating your border edges, you can come up with any number of beautiful edges to any card.

Here is a close up of just how beautiful your bottom edge will be.  And remember, with the number of dies included in this set, you can vary this and end up with a ton of different looks!

For my card, I colored a digi from Power Poppy, but if coloring is not your thing, you can simply substitute a beautiful sentiment for the image.

I hope you have already checked out the inspirations from Mikha & Darlene and will come back tomorrow & Friday to check out Robin & Alicia's beautiful creations.

Don't forget we also have a Dies R Us Challenge Blog!  Head on over there for a chance to win a prize!
And crafters, you just HAVE to head off to the Dies R Us Store!  We are adding so many new product lines every week that it is just hard to keep up with them!

I'll see you again next Wednesday!  Have a happy, relaxing week & go create something spectacular!

It's June Wedding Time!

Happy Tuesday All!
Darlene here to share another inspirational card creation using some of the gorgeous dies & embossing folders available at the Dies R Us Store.  JUNE is the No. 1 month for Weddings
(with December coming in 2nd), so today I'd like to share a Wedding creation with you!

Although I love my stamps/inks/digis & markers ... the dimension achieved by using dies is fabulous!  And, in my mind, so appropriate for those really 'special' occasions.

Here are the dies/embossing folder I've used on today's wedding card creation:

Remember, if the die you are wanting is Out of Stock, simply click on the 'Put Me On The Waiting List' tab and you will be notified via email when it is back in stock.

Aren't these new 'smaller' gardenia flowers just precious!  Using these flower strip dies make it so easy to create a flower and the gardenia strip is one of my favorites!  I LOVED my larger gardenia strip die and when they came out with this new smaller version ... I just had to pop right over to our store and make a purchase.  Here's a photo to give you an idea of the size difference between the two.
Gardenia #B339 is the larger one on the left.
Small Gardenia #B433 is the smaller one on the right.

(Believe it or not!  This is actually the TRUE COLOR of the flowers, ribbon on my card!  Don't know why my camera likes to turn my PINKS to PEACH from time to time!  Uugh!)

I hope you'll pop over to the Dies R Us store and check out the amazing variety of companies carried by our store and the prices are great too!  PLUS for USA folks an order of $35 or more will get you FREE shipping ... $50 or more for our international friends!

And, don't forget about our Dies R Us Challenge Blog!
New challenges & inspiration on the 1st and 15th of each month.
There's also a prize offering of a $10 gift voucher to the store for one lucky player for each challenge.

Sherri will be here tomorrow with more wonderful inspiration so please come back!
As for me, you'll see me again next Tuesday!

A touch of humor

Greetings Dies R Us fans, followers and visitors.

I'm keeping with the male theme that Robin set yesterday (and it's also the topic of our current challenge which is running through till June 13). I'm having a bit of fun with this one and am keeping it very simple and embellishing only with some cute tools which are super handy for adding to male orientated cards.

Dies used include:

This grumpy old guy is named Gus (and I just love that cos my darling husband is also Gus too!) and this sentiment which come with the stamp is my kind of humor. This stamp is from Bugaboo and aptly titled 'Gus WTF'. I coloured him using my trusty Copics.

I started off with a square card and used one of the Spellbinders Circles Small to trace around on the top left corner and hand cut it out. I trimmed all other sections with a corner trimmer then layered them on black cardstock.

My banner is actually two strips of sprocket washi tape lined up side-by-side and and cut into a banner, which I curved at the ends to give a bit of dimension to the card. I've embellished this card using the Memory Box Man Tools cut twice, once on silver cardstock and once on coloured cardstock, to give the tools more of a realistic feel. Here is a closer look at the tools (which all come in the one die!)

On the inside of the card I've used a simple Happy Fathers Day stamp and embossed it then cut it out with Spellbinders Curved Rectangle and attached a single Die-Versions Sweet Petite Sprocket.

Thanks for stopping by and having a gander at my card.
I hope that you all get some time over the weekend to have a play in your studios!
Until next week, keep crafting!

Dad's Day!

Happy Thursday everyone! Robin here with my inspiration of the week for Dies R Us!  If it's June, Father's Day is around the corner! This is a great masculine card for Father's Day, a birthday or any special "male" occasion.

I layered a plaid background paper with a frame cut from Kraft paper using Spellbinders Nestabiliities - Large Labels and then added the tags. Both tags were cut with Taylored Expression's Tag Stacklets 1.  After sponging the edges of the large and small tag with Distress Ink, I added the metal looking grommet from Taylored Expressions Tag Reinforcements set. The small tag was stamped with a sentiment and added to the large tag.  I spelled the word "DAD" using Memory Box Parker Upper Alphabet Set, lightly sponged the edges of the letters and added them to the tag.

The card was finished with an antique rick rack from May Arts, a simple grosgrain ribbon and some metal gems. After adding three metal gears, from Tim Holtz, the tag was attached with heavy twine and foam dimensionals.

Be sure to check out all our design team inspirations for the week! Lots of great ideas and designs using dies from Dies R Us!  And a reminder to enter our twice monthly Dies R Us Challenge Blog, check it out!

Until next week…thanks for stopping by, Robin

A Touch of Country!

Hi, Crafters!

It's Wednesday again & its my turn to offer you another inspirational idea that may get your craft mojo going!  Today I thought I would add a little touch of country!  If you are like me, one of the first things you think of when you think of country touches are the beautiful handmade quilts.  Well, now you can have the look of a beautiful quilt without touching your sewing machine!  By using dies you can have that beautiful look of quilts in just minutes.  Today I am using Spellbinders Angle Approach and Taylored Expressions Ric Rac Borders.  There are 3 dies in the Angle Approach.  I used the middle size on this first card and the largest & smallest on the second card.  The dies come with complete instructions for folding & it takes you just seconds to create these gorgeous quilt pieces. The design on these dies is pure genius!

On the second card, I popped the center up with a pop dot for more interest and added the ric rac.

I used double sided paper on my cards, but you could just as easily use any beautiful designer paper you like.  These cards would be perfect for birthdays, thank you's, get well, thinking of you or as a set of note cards for a special gift for someone dear.

I hope you have been to visit Mikha & Darlene already.  And don't forget to come back the rest of the week to see what Robin & Alicia have in store for you!

Be sure you are joining our twice monthly challenge blogs at Dies R Us too!  Lots of fun and ideas & a chance to win a gift certificate to the store!

Until next week, happy creating!
