On the blue cardstock added the Penny Black Dies in Winter Trees, double the dies to create a shadow effect to appear like snow is on the tree. Added snowflakes and bling. Pretty Poinsettia Package

Hi Everyone!
Darlene with you today sharing a creation for your inspiration, using dies from the Dies R Us Store.  If you've not popped over to the Dies R Us Store recently, DO IT NOW!  So many newly released dies that you won't want to miss out on.

And, OH MY GOODNESS the sales they've been having!!  Of course if you aren't already signed up for their newsletter, you'll want to do that because that's they only way you will be informed of the AWESOME unadvertised sales that you can participate in and get some amazing deals ... great for gift giving too!!!

Anyways onto today's card . . .

The dies I have used in the creation are:

Sue Wilson Frames & Tags - Stitched Flags - CED4317

Sue Wilson Designs - Frames & Tags - Stitched Flags

Memory Box - Gift Wrapped Poinsettia - #99478 which is unavailable at the present time but very similar to
Memory Box - Poinsettia Ribbon - MBD-99182
Memory Box - Dies - Poinsettia Ribbon

Cheery Lynn Designs - Poinsettia Strip

AND Cottage Cutz - Elegant Poinsettia Spray - CCE-036 which was purchased through one of those special Newsletter Sales I was telling you about at the start of this posting.

Sorry I have no photos of the 'process' in making this card!  Hubby was working on my computer when I was creating and I totally forgot to take some photos along the way ... so distracting when he's in my cave but sometimes it's necessary!  LOL

Here are a couple close ups that you might like to see . . .

Even though the Memory Box Poinsettia ribbon has the poinsettia as part of the die, I did two things ... I colored the pieces that cut out (petals) using Tim Holtz distress inks and reinserted them into the die cut ... but also die cut, sponged and shaped a poinsettia from the Cheery Lynn Designs die strip and placed on top to give it more texture and dimension.

The little green viney pieces were cut from the Cottage Cuts die (didn't use the flower ... just the vines).

I used two of the stitched flags from the Sue Wilson set to create my
sentiment panel.  A touch of gold stickles add the sparkle that is always necessary
for a holiday card!

Wish you a Merry Christmas

Hi Connie here with you today with 3 cards using the same main die.

I am starting with the card with the most detail and working my way down to ones that are a little less time consuming, depending on the time you have to make them.

The main die I have used in all of these cards is the Poppystamps We wish you a merry Christmas die. I first cut the die out of my Basic Grey paper and then added some double stick tape to the openings on the back of the paper so when I cut the die once again out of red cardstock, I could just pick them up and set them into the blank spaces and they would stick, quicker than gluing.  I also cut just the star and ornament out of silver paper.  I also paired it up with the Memory Box Seraphine Laurel die you might remember I used this die here back in August and mentioned I could use this die for all sorts of occasions and I think it frames this die very well. I colored it with markers.

On my second card I die cut it at the bottom right corner and inlaid it with brown cardstock, the star in silver and ornament in gold papers.  I also used Poppystamps Valley snowflakes.  The store no longer carries these dies but you can find many snowflakes to chose from Here .  To give it an extra bit of sparkle I added Frosted Lace Stickles to the snowflakes.

This last one took the least amount of time to make of all of them, just took some paper, cut the die and added a piece of red paper behind the die opening, only inlaid on it are the star and ornament.

These are all very flat so the mailing would be kept down to a single stamp, I hope you found one option that will work for you.

Here are the dies I used with the links above.

Just to Say....

Hello, Janice here with you again to share my latest card

I first cut a piece of card and ran it through my die cut machine using
Hurry over to the store before this one is gone!

Next, using one of the set of three label dies from the
Lawn Fawn - Stitched Label set, I die cut the label.

Using Dusty Concord Distress ink, I lightly brushed the embossed card and
the label, then I stamped the sentiment.

I added the ribbon, then matt and layered the embossed card onto purple and silver mirri card.
I then glued this onto the card base, attached the label with 3D foam squares, and added the gems.

The items I have used:-

Happy New Home

Good morning Alicia here today with a Happy new home card.  As soon as I saw the Die Versions Whispers Grandfather clock I envisioned a scene.  I found the Spellbinders D Lites Artistocrat a perfect fit in my new home scene.  I had fun piecing together several cuts in different papers to create a detail.  I added both cuts to a wallpaper feeling background paper to create my warm home like scene.

I cut both the clock and deer out twice using different papers.  I then cut pieces apart and put them back together mixing the papers.  Some of the pieces were pretty small, I found a precision glue pen the best to adhere.  I also fussy cut a back piece for the inside of the clock out of chipboard.  I used chalking ink to color it brown.  I inked all the edges with the same chalking ink, I find this adds cohesiveness to the piece.

Here are some pictures of the details:

A Snowflake Christmas Card

Hello, Janice here with you again to share my latest card

Today I am sharing a fairly quick, clean and simple card which could be mass
produced in no time if needed.

My card base is 7"x5", and I firstly cut the sentiment
which I then glued in the centre of the top third of the card.
When dry, I scored a line above and below the sentiment.

Next I cut a strip of navy blue card to go across the lower third of the card base,
matted onto silver mirri card, and glued to the base card.

Cutting three of the Poppy Stamps - Giovanna Snowflakes in white card, I glued them
across the blue strip and added gems to the centre of each one.

The dies I have used:-
