"I carry your heart..."

Good morning Dies R Us friends...Vicki here sharing weekend inspiration with you!
Today I have a romantic, vintage card created using the Antique Car Border from Amy Design's new Vintage Vehicle Collection.

"I carry your heart..."

The card base is 6 x 6 and layered with patterned papers from one of my favorite G45 Collections.

I die cut the antique car and adhered it to a pocket strip across the bottom of the card.

Next, I fussy cut photos from one of the patterned papers to add to the photo wheel.  I tucked in a heart behind the wheel and adhered them both in the pocket strip.

A few more romantic embellishments including an Eiffel Tower, Roses and a bow complete the details.  The sentiment tag is part of the collection also.
I used the following die cuts available in the Dies R Us Store...

Tutti Design Nesting Stitched Hearts

From my stash...
Amy Designs Antique Car Border
Bazzill Cardstock
Couture Creations Pearls
G45 Mon Amour Patterned Paper Collection
Really Reasonable Ribbon April Collection - Coral
Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Hearts
Wild Orchid, Recollections Roses

Thanks for stopping by the DRUS Blog...I hope you are inspired to use die cuts on all your projects!

Snail Mail For You!

Hi crafty friends!
Stacey back with you today to share a card that I created using some fabulous dies and stamps that can be found in the Dies R Us Store

I'm making it my mission to be better about sending more happy mail starting in August. In order to do that, I need to build up my stock a little. lol!

I started by pulling out some dies that I thought would be perfect for the card I had in mind. They were the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders and Lawn Fawn Happy Mail dies. I die cut all my pieces and started assembling.

Here is a look at the completed card:

The mailbox was so super easy to put together! I decided to put a greeting along the edge of one of the hillside borders and heat emboss it in white. The greeting and the cute little snail came from the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens stamp set. Once my card was finished, it still didn't look finished to me so I decided to add some fun Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders to the top of my card to complete my little scene that I created. Adorable!

Here is a quick peek (with links) at the products that I used on my card that can be found in the Dies R Us Store.

Jelly Bean Shaker

Hello!  It is Barbara today on the Dies R Us Blog  with a super fun shaker card.  I love to make these shaker cards, so different to make a interactive card. I don't think that Hall Mark makes those.  Lol
This one was easy to do with the stamp set from Lawn Fawn and the matching add on Shaker die
Here is my example for you.

These jelly beans seem to be falling out of the jar. I have pasted some outside
to appear to be spilling out.

These are the dies cuts that you need to make for your shaker card.  One for the jar, stamp again and use the frame die to cut the frame.  I stamped the lid and the cluster of jelly beans and fussy cut them my self.  Next cut the jar from acetate ( can you see it on my picture)?  I didn't waste any paper as the center of the frame was used to die cut more jelly beans.  Then you just color them any way that you like. These are now ready for my next shaker card.  Be sure to add a double row of foam adhesive to the frame.  That way the beans inside will really move. Don't forget to add some shimmer and glossy accents to make those jelly beans look real.
Here is a peek at the inside, something that is my goal, to finish the inside except for the sentiment, or hand written greeting. I think you can see how the jelly beans sparkle and shine. Love that!
The shaker die also has stars and heats to place inside the jar.  Lots of possibilities here.
Here's a list of products I used that can be found at Dies R Us:
Lawn Fawn - How You Bean? Stamps
Lawn Fawn - How You Bean? Shaker Add-On Dies

Tutti Designs - Dies - Nesting Stitched Rectangles
I used a die that I had for the grass, but I found this die in the Dies R Us Store that would be perfect.

Fun With Pinwheels!

Vickie Y sharing with you today!  As a young girl I LOVED pinwheels!  The kind on a stick that when blown on or caught with the wind would whirl round and round....mesmerizing!  When I found the Elizabeth Crafts Designs Pinwheel die in the DRU online store I couldn't resist using it to create a fun pinwheel wreath!

I removed the inside ring from a 7 inch embroidery hoop to create the base for the wreath.  I wrapped the wood hoop using some twill ribbon from my stash.  Hint:  you could paint the hoop, wrap it using floral tape, or leave it natural!

Using double sided designer paper I die cut several pinwheels and used a small brad to fasten the blades to the center of each wheel.  I then adhered each pinwheel to the hoop leaving room on the right side to put the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die cut and a multi-loop bow.

I had a pinwheel left so I created a card to go along with the wreath.

Here are the dies used to create the wreath and card:

It appears that both dies are now out of stock.  Be sure to click on the waiting list box so you will be notified when the dies are back in stock.  Also, try doing a search in the online store for pinwheels and a search for flouishes and some alternative dies will show-up.
