A Christmas Scene

Hello, Janice here with you again to share my latest
card made for the Dies R Us Inspirational Blog

I started by cutting a rectangle of dark blue card, which I embossed it with
the Cuttlebug Snowflake embossing folder, and glued it directly onto my card base.

Next, using white card, I die cut the Cheery Lynn  - Winter Neighbourhood Border die.

After removing the waste pieces from the windows, I coloured little pieces of card with
a yellow Promarker and glued one behind each window, to give the effect of the
rooms being lit. Using 3D foam tape, I attached the house border onto the blue card.

I then cut two rectangles of white card, tearing the top of each one to form snow drifts,
and glued them in position.

I stamped the greeting (which was a free gift with a craft magazine), coloured the
poinsettias and holly with Promarkers and added Sakura Glaze pen.
To finish I added Stickles to the embossed dots in the sky and along the hill edge,
the rooftops, the trees and at the top of the snow drifts.

Here is the die I have used.

I have also made a New Home card.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
