Happy Birthday Floral

Good Monday Morning, Donna Phelan here.
Today I have a Birthday card to share with you!

My card uses a beautiful Happy Birthday die not available, but there are a couple in the Dies R Us Store that would work really well with this design.

OR

I ran my white base card stock through my Big Shot using a Swiss Dots Embossing folder to add texture.  And then I cut out the center with a Die-Namics Stitched Rectangle die.

Another comparable choice would be the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles

I layered my Happy Birthday die 3 times in black, green and white card stocks.  By adding the black on the base it POPS off of the pretty pink Designer Paper.  Plus it adds a little bit more oomph!

I really have fallen in love with this Dogwood Blossom Corner by Poppystamps.  It's so delicate and beautiful!  I cut it once from green card stock and then again in pink, snipping the blossoms off and  layering them right on to the green.  Again, adding a bit more oomph.

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

Please remember, each and every day of the month there's a new inspiration sample shared here on the blog by this fabulous design team.  Please be sure to pop in regularly.

And don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

  1. Such a pretty card Donna! I especially love the layering of the sentiment, (which looks like painted chipboard - fantastic!) a great tip re the black, it really makes it pop! The delicate and pretty blossom corner makes a perfect frame for it too. Great inspiration, thank you.
