I hope your weekend is going great and you are enjoying a little crafty time! Today I am sharing this fun card featuring a wonderful daisy die cut from Dies R Us! Here is what I came up with.
My finished card size is a standard A2 top folding base from some black cardstock. The patterned papers are from the 6x6 Echo Park Summer Fun paper pad.
I used the Daisy Bunch die from Die-Namites. I cut it out in black cardstock and in white cardstock. I stacked the white on top of the black and offset them slightly to create the idea of a shadow.
I heat embossed some fine glitter to the white die cut. I did three layers of the heat embossing to really give the die cut some thickness and dimension. I used some Robin’s Nest Metallic Silver Dew Drops for the centers of the flowers.
I created the sentiment on my computer and then cut it out of the oval scalloped stitched die.
I used some foam tape to give the scallop stitched rectangle die I used some lift from the base. I added a strip of additional patterned paper down the middle.
For a finishing touch, I added a fluffy bow to the bottom of the strip of plaid ribbon border and then topped that off with an additional Robin’s Nest Silver Dew Drop.
Here is one last look at my completed card. I thought it turned out quite pretty and love the mix of patterned papers to give it a bold yet fun look.
