Hello all! This is Donna ushering Spring in with a flower card just for you. Having many dies in my repertoire, I always try to “extend the life” of a die by using it in a different way. Below is my Sympathy card using a Memory Box Forget Me Not die and turning it into a Hydrangea. Dies R Us has so many lovely products to choose from!
What you will need for this card are simple ingredients. White card stock is 10x6-1/2 and 4-1/8x6 and the blue holographic paper is 4-1/2x6-1/4 and 2-7/8 x 3-1/2. I used this holographic wrapping paper in lieu of mirror card stock. I then cut one stem and about 8 sets of the Forge-Me-Not flower heads.
Next I sponged blue, pink and lavender on all the flower heads and put them aside.
Using my score board, I created a framework to further showcase the smaller blue holographic piece.
Place all card layers together and adhere flower stem then randomly place flower heads to form a hydrangea, add some tickles for a little sparkle. Stamp sentiment and you are done!
