Pocket Bouquet Card by Melinda

Happy Saturday crafty friends!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend and getting your craft on! Today I am sharing this fun card I created.

Here is a look at my completed card. I started with an A2 white cardstock base that is top folding. I added a mat of some buttery yellow cardstock and then used some pretty floral pattened paper for the top mat.

The main focal image of my card ispatternedvely and fun pocket of flowers die from Cheapo Dies. I cut it out of plain white cardstock and then colored it with my Copic markers.  That seems to be a favorite technique of mine these days. I layered the finished die cut onto two layers of the oval scallop stitched dies. The top one I very lightly used my pebble chalks to color a very subtle yellow.

sentiment cu
I added in a fun little sentiment off to the side.

I finished off the card with a border of some pretty fuchsia ribbon and a bow.

I Am Deeply In Love With You!

Happy Thursday everyone! It's Rosie here today sharing a totally fun Shadow Box Card using several Lawn Fawn products with some cute paper from Echo Park Let's Be Mermaids.

 ++++++++++++++++++++++++
The links to all of the products used from the Dies R Us Store are shown below. Here is a step-by-step of how I created this card.

The first step I did was cut out the two pieces that form the Shadow Box from Lawn Fawn Shadow Box Card Dies. I used some double-sided Bo Bunny paper for this step. I think it's quicker when putting together the shadow box to use double-sided paper because of course both sides are decorated so no need to cut extra paper. :)

Next, I glued the two pieces together on the folded tabs.

I grabbed some decorative paper from Echo Park Let's Be Mermaids 6x6 Paper Pad and used the Lawn Fawn Shadow Box Card Ocean Add-On Dies to create the waves for the inside and top of the card.

I also cut out some seahorses and seashells from one of the sheets to add more decorative elements.

Lastly, I colored up the scuba divers from the Lawn Fawn You Are Sublime Stamp Set and added them to the inside. The sentiment on the banner also came from the You Are Sublime Stamp Set. The whale came from the Ocean Add-On Die Set.

I hope this inspires you to try some dimensional cards soon! I can't wait to make more. These Lawn Fawn Stamps and Dies from the Dies R Us Store make it easy peasy!!

Daisy Die Card by Melinda

Happy Saturday crafty friends!
I hope your weekend is going great and you are enjoying a little crafty time! Today I am sharing this fun card featuring a wonderful daisy die cut from Dies R Us! Here is what I came up with.
Dies R Us Die Cut Card
My finished card size is a standard A2 top folding base from some black cardstock. The patterned papers are from the 6x6 Echo Park Summer Fun paper pad.

I used the Daisy Bunch die from Die-Namites.  I cut it out in black cardstock and in white cardstock. I stacked the white on top of the black and offset them slightly to create the idea of a shadow.

I heat embossed some fine glitter to the white die cut. I did three layers of the heat embossing to really give the die cut some thickness and dimension. I used some Robin’s Nest Metallic Silver Dew Drops for the centers of the flowers.

I created the sentiment on my computer and then cut it out of the oval scalloped stitched die.

I used some foam tape to give the scallop stitched rectangle die I used some lift from the base. I added a strip of additional patterned paper down the middle.

For a finishing touch, I added a fluffy bow to the bottom of the strip of plaid ribbon border and then topped that off with an additional Robin’s Nest Silver Dew Drop.

Here is one last look at my completed card. I thought it turned out quite pretty and love the mix of patterned papers to give it a bold yet fun look.
