Beach Power

Colleen from Scrappin Granny to share with you a layout I had so much fun creating using some great dies.

I started with the Fishing Net die by Amy Design and cut a couple of them.  I used a paper that looked like basket weave and love the end rest after using the Fishing Net die.

Next I did some layering of my papers and added the photo.

I used some material that worked so well with the cardstock flowers that I had cut out.  Once I had the fabric flowers stacked on one another I used Spiced Marmalade Oxide Ink  by Ranger on them and then sprayed the fabric.  I wadded the flowers up and held them in place with a paper clip.  While they were drying I started work on making the rest of my flowers out of cardstock.

I used the Large Rose die by Cheery Lynn and the Small Rose die to create all my cardstock flowers.  I also inked around the edges of all these flower and them wadded them up and played with them until I got them in the shape I wanted.

While the flowers are drying I cut out all the rest of the elements I need for this page.  I used Anchor by Xcut and cut out two of them and used pop dots to layer the anchors.

I then cut lots of Stage and Pipe Corals by Frantic Stamper Inc. using two different cardstocks and then layers them together in threes.  I also cut out a couple of the small Dragonflies by Cheery Lynn.  To finish off the flowers I cut a couple Vines by Tutti Designs.

I used the Washi Tape-Film Strip along the side and as filler among the flowers.  Since the Film Strip was very white I used some ink to make it look more vintage.  I also added pop dots behind a couple of the places where I bent it over.

I finished off the page with some sea shells and the title.  I used the Best Glue Ever to adhere everything on my page.
