For that boat lover!

Hello, crafty Dies R Us fans! Leslie here from Love To Scrap 2 and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a fun masculine card for that boat lover which features the amazing Twisted Rope Background Die from Tutti Designs! I love this die - it makes the BEST masculine cards!

Okay, so let's get started!

1. Die cut the twisted rope background from kraft cardstock and set aside while you cut all the other pieces and parts you'll need for your card.

2. Cut a landscape top-folding standard A2 size card base, an inside layering panel and a narrow embellishing strip for the inside from kraft cardstock, along with front and inside layering panels and a narrow embellishing strip for the inside cut from navy and red cardstock.

3. For the front panel, adhere the twisted rope background die cut to the navy cardstock panel with spray adhesive (the easiest and fastest way I've found to adhere 'lacy' type die cuts) and then adhere the panel to the red cardstock layer. For the inside panel, adhere the blue, red and kraft embellishing strips down the left side, then adhere the panel to the blue cardstock layer and then to the red cardstock layer.

4. Stamp the front sentiment in blue ink, trim, and layer on red cardstock. Adhere the sentiment to the front panel and add a red anchor brad. Stamp the inside sentiment in blue ink.

5. Adhere the panels to the card base. And you're finished! ;)
