Hello, crafty Dies R Us fans! Leslie here from Love To Scrap 2, and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today with another DT inspiration project! I created a fun Christmas card featuring the Sizzix Jolly St. Nick Thinlits which is one of my new favorite sets! I love working on Christmas cards all year long, and this guy is just so jolly I can't stand it!
So let's get started!
1. Die cut all the Santa pieces, adhere the pieces together, and set the Santa aside.
2. Cut a 6" top-folding card base from white cardstock along with a red cardstock panel for the front, and white and dark green cardstock panels for the inside. Also cut several wide embellishing strips from light and dark green cardstock for the front, and narrow embellishing strips from red, light green and dark green cardstock for the inside. Decide which Christmas washi tape will be used on the front and inside.
3. Assemble the front panel: Adhere the wide light and dark green cardstock strips to the front red layering panel, add a strip of Christmas washi tape down the left side, and adhere Santa.
4. Assemble the inside panel: Adhere the red and light and dark green cardstock embellishing strips to the inside white layering panel, add a strip of the Christmas washi tape, and adhere the panel to the dark green layering panel.
5. Add stamped sentiments to front and inside panels.
6. Adhere front and inside panels to the card base.
