Hi Friends, Kristina here getting started on Easter cards. I thought this Tutti Designs Easter Lily die would be perfect for Easter Cards, and the rest of the year for Sympathy Cards, Happy Spring, any occasion really. There is a lot you could do with it, I chose to do some copic coloring.
To put it all together, I die cut the card out of white card stock, but kept all the pieces together and in the die. I added some liquid adhesive all over the back, and adhered the whole die to my card front.
Once the glue had time to dry I slowly and carefully peeled the die off, leaving behind the positive and negative space of the die.
I cut the die out a 2nd time out of black card stock and used it as a guide while I was coloring, to keep track of what is what. Once I was finished coloring, that black die cut became my actual window.
To finish I added some white specs on the lilies with my gel pen, and stamped my Happy Easter sentiment at the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by!
