Mother's Day

Hi everyone!  Doni with you today and I have a sweet Mother's Day card to share.
 
I kept the background colors soft using layers of soft greys and white. 
This gives the pretty pot of flowers more "punch".
 
Here's how to make them extra special by doing a little extra die cut coloring:

On the top are the die cut pieces. On the bottom are the die cut pieces with a little shading
done with Copic markers which are listed on the left. You also could add color with
inks or chalk or colored pencils, or watercolor crayons or...well you get the idea!

I die cut the center frame three times and glued them together for extra dimension.
I used vellum behind the frame because I liked the way it let the pretty background show through.
