Elegant Scrollwork

Scrollwork

Hello crafters!  It’s Donna once again with a very simple project for you.  Using just one die from DiesRUs, I’ll walk you through this project.  I love scrollwork and this Memory Box Elegant Scrollwork was just calling to be put into use.

For this project you will need:
Base Cardsock:  5-1/2 X 8-1/2, folded in half
Top Layer, 5-1/4 x 4 and run through an embossing folder of choice
Four die cuts of Elegant Scrollwork
Paper Flowers and leaves
Stickles

I did round all my corners as it needed to mimic the softness of the scroll.  I then decided to use mounting tape on the white layer for more dimension.

Next I die cut four of the Elegant Scrollwork die and adhered them to the front of the white layer, starting in each corner and overlapping in the center.  Next I inked in my flowers to coordinate with the purple background and clustered them with leaves in the center to cover all the overlaps of the scrollwork.  Add a sentiment and some glitter to the flowers and voila!
