Melinda here with you today sharing this cheerful card with you!
Here is my finished card. It is an A2 top folding card base from white cardstock. I then used a piece of pink cardstock for a mat. I then used some of my cat’s eye pigment ink to ink the edges of my pink mat.
Next I used the scalloped stitched rectangle die and cut it out from some white cardstock. I used a piece o patterned paper from the BoBunny Faith paper pad. I used a smaller rectangle die from the same set a few sizes smaller and cut that out of white cardstock as well. The mat for that is also a piece of paper from the same paper pad collection.
The focal die is this fun Music Note die from Cheapo Dies! I cut it out of some pink cardstock. I then used my Ebony Black Nuvo Drops to give the notes and treble clef some pop and dimension. The rest of the die I used some Stickles to give it some sparkle.
I also used my Nuvo Drops to add some dimension to the word joy. The word and sentiment were part of the patterned paper. I also used my Nuvo Drops to add a little dot border around both white mats.
Here is a closer look at the little bow I created to accent my card.
Here is one last look at my finished card. I love to make cards with lots of layers. I can’t seem to help myself!!! I did add some foam tape between the layers to give them a little lift.
