Seahorse Die Card By Melinda

Happy Saturday crafty friends,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend and able to get a little crafty time in! Melinda here with you today and I am sharing a card I made with a fun Seahorse Die from Cheapo Dies!

Here is my finished card. It is a top folding A2 card with a white cardstock base.  The patterned papers are from the Doodlebug Fun In The Sun and Under The Sea paper pads.

sea horse die cut
The little stars of this card are these cute little Seahorses from the Cheapo Dies, Seahorse Die cut.  I started by cutting them out a couple of times from some plain white cardstock. I then used my various cat’s eye inks to brush on some color. I then layered them so that the little cutouts on the larger Seahorse would be different colors but still look clean. For their little eyes, I dabbed a bit of Ebony Nuvo Drops. I also used my sparkle pen to brush on a little sparkle. I finished off the die by adding some dew drops to the larger circle centers to give the bubbles some dimension.

twine border
I added some twine along the top of the little border.

sentiment
This cute little sentiment was in the Doodlebug paper pad. I just trimmed it down to fit my project.

Here is one last look at my finished card. It is such a cheerful card and I can’t wait to give it to someone special.
