Hugs in a Pop-Up Box

I like to mix die companies when I'm creating cards or projects. With  Lawn Fawn's Scalloped Box Card - Pop-Up die, the possiblilities are endless.
Here's what I did:
I cut Elizabeth Craft Designs Mushrooms, Birds, Leaf & Berry Branches and Pair of Leaves 1 from white cardstock and added color using Distress Inks.  This is my favorite way to add color to dies and is much faster than cutting each individual piece out of colored cardstock.

I created the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up using directions from a video I found on YouTube.  It went together very easily!

I began building the scene by glueing the die cuts starting at the back and working my way forward.
I had this "hugs" die that was cut from glitter paper on my table that just happened to be the perfect color to coordinate with the papers on my project.  There are many "hug" dies available at Dies R Us.
The fun thing about this box card pop-up is that it folds flat so you can mail it and when opened its perfectly displayed.  So fun to make and give!  I encourage you to give one a try.  You might find it very addictive.  ;0)

Because Dies R Us offers all the quality brand name dies you've come to love at a discounted price, you'll find that dies move in and out of the store very quickly.   If you see something you'd like but it's out of stock, click on the "Notify Me" button and you'll get an e-mail as soon as it arrives.
