Christmas Cardinal

Hello, and welcome to the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog. Judy Woodland here, and I am honored to be one of the newest members of the Inspiration Design Team. I hope you enjoy what I have for you today.

I love Cardinals, and was so happy when I found this fantastic die set from Dee's Distinctively.

~Here's how I made this card~

I made an A2 card base with red card stock, made a mat with black, and finally added a layer of white. The corners were punched for a more decorative look.

I die cut the cardinal with red and black card stock.

I painted a little bleach onto the beak and then sponged with a small amount of orange ink. The rest of the body and wings were sponged with red ink.

The Twig Wreath and Pine Boughs were die cut.

And then the whole card was put together.

These are the dies I used:

Dee's Distinctively Dies - Cardinal Left

Impression Obsession - Dies - Twig Wreath

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you like this sweet little cardinal, I know I do!!
