Focal Point Coloring with Lawn Fawn

Good morning~  Birgit here with you today with a focal point coloring technique using stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn.

I started by stamping a flower image from Lawn Fawn's Our Friendship Grows over a white card stock panel, adding leaf images to random flowers.

and then colored the inside die cut panel using Copic markers.
I added some details to the flowers using a white gel pen.

I folded a white card stock card base and embossed the card using the largest Outside In Stitched Stackable Square Die.

Glue the outside portion of the front panel to the card base and then add foam tape to the back of the colored panel and adhere it to the center of the card base.

The foam tape gives the center panel dimension.  I then heat embossed the sentiment onto a scrap of black card stock and mounted that using foam tape, giving this card even more dimension.

Here's a look at the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration and will give the focal point coloring technique a try.  There a lots of great Lawn Fawn stamps and dies in the store that would work great for this type of project.
