Hi everyone Happy Monday and welcome back to another Monday Make with Monica. Today I am using the Altenew "Leaf Frame Cover" die with a clear acetate backing to make a card for almost any occasion.
ADDING COLOR
- I die cut the frame using XPress-IT blending paper so I could color the leaves on the frame with copic pens. I used R69, R66, and R63 to give the frame some color and shading.
- I then took my R69 and a white gel pen and I began adding some very small dots along the leaves. This sort of gives the image you colored a sort of sparkly look.
CREATING THE CARD FRONT
- To create the card front I cut a piece of white cardstock to 5.5 x 5.25 the extra .1.4" is for scoring a 1/4" lip to adhere the cardstock and acetate to to make a card (as seen below)
- I then adhered the frame to a piece of clear acetate and added a bold sentiment and I colored an image from Altenew coordinating the colors to match the frame to complete my card
I hope everyone enjoyed my post for today and everyone Have a Great Week! and please...
