Hello there, Alicia with you today. I used the Karen Burniston Fancy Label Accordion die set to create a fun 3-D card. I used several Karen Burniston die sets to make this outdoorsy make. I think this will really make someone's day and hopefully will be displayed.
Here's a close up of just the front panel. The trees are actually from the Karen Burniston Long Nature Edges. The trees in that set are a bit smaller than the Karen Burniston Outdoor Scene trees with the birds, clouds and deer border that I also used on this project.
The second panel has the cute little bear from Karen Burniston Winter Animals. I just cut him in brown instead of white. I added the stick, hat and fish from Karen Burniston Camping Charms.
I colored the fish with alcohol markers. I simply cut a piece of the blue paper against the bottom edge of the pivot label for the water.
I learned something creating this card. Well, perhaps I just should have thought it through more thoroughly the first time. But I will impart the wisdom I learned from this project. I wanted the tree line to fit the pivoted label so I placed the cut on the label die and ran it through my machine. It's obvious from this photo, I ruined the rest of the cut as it got chopped up by the rest of the die.
Second time around, I cut the border strip to fit the label panel. I also used both the top and bottom cutting two at once! Better cuts and time saver. I hope this helps you in a future project.
