Mini Lantern Boxes

Hi everyone Steph back with another project for Dies R Us.

The Elizabeth Craft Designs Lantern Box measures approximately 2" x 2" once assembled and can be used for so many different occasions.  Thank Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Birthdays, Mother's Day, Christmas and more.  Just change up your papers for different occasions.

Using the die, die cut it twice from pattern papers.

During die cutting, score lines are added to the design.  Fold along the score lines.  It's much easier assembling the boxes if they have been folded first.  Add tape along the smaller tabs and adhere together creating the lanterns.

For additional support, I added a 1 3/4" square of pattern paper to the bottom of each box.  

Decorate the boxes with ribbons and flowers (befitting the occasion), tying them to the handles.
