Batman Birthday!

Hello crafting friends.   Lena here today sharing a fun Batman Birthday card I made for my son-in-law.

I used the Flap and Closure die by Karen Burniston to make the card closure.
The word "Celebrate" is also one of Karen's dies. The batarang is from Google 😊

When  you open the card ... Batman pops up.
I used the Surprise Ball pop up die, also by Karen Burniston.
To make the ball pop-up I used thick black cardstock and a #12 soft stretch rubber band.

By using a brad before you adhere the "ball" to the card, you can make the "ball" spin :-)

I cut the bits and pieces to make Batman's mask by googling various images,
picking one and then adapting it to the ball pop-up.

The ball flattens when the card is closed.  Since it doesn't add a lot of bulk, it's easy to put in the mail.

Please click on the links for the video tutorial by Karen Burniston.  She shows you how to put both die sets together on this one video tutorial.

And here is the list of products I used, each linked to the Dies R Us store for your convenience.
