Fairy Wishes

Hello Die-R-Us Fans! Lori here today and it is my first post as part of the Design Team and I am very happy to be here!

I have two cards to share with you today that I made with a combination of Lavania Stamps and various dies that Dies-R-Us sells.

For my first card I started with the Rue Lavinia Stamp and the Penny Black Bamboo Foliage die and the Impression Obsession Grass die.

For this card I started with white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of watercolor paper and some distress oxides and my craft mat.  I took my craft mat and then swiped some Salty Ocean, Twisted Citron, Broken China, Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint distress oxides onto the mat and then spritzed it with water.  I ran the paper through the colors a couple of times until I got the colored background that I wanted and then I let the paper dry.  Once it was dry I took the Lavinia Rue stamp and some black ink and stamped the fairy onto the paper.  I took the Penny Black Bamboo Foilage die and some green paper and cut that out and placed that on the top left hand corner.  I took more green paper and the Impression Obsession Grass die and cut out the grass and attached that to the bottom right hand corner and then I added the watercolor paper to the card base.

I started by gathering my craft mat, distress oxides, watercolor paper and my spray bottle.

I swiped the Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Faded Jeans distress oxides onto my craft mat.

I spritzed the inks with water.

I ran my watercolor paper through the inks.

Then I let the paper dry and I gathered my Lavinia Stamps Rue stamp, some Black ink, Penny Black Bamboo Foliage die and the Impression Obsession Grass die and and some green paper. I took the black ink and stamped Rue onto the distressed ink paper.  I took the green paper and cut out the Penny Black Bamboo Foliage die and the Impression Obsession Grass die and cut them out and added them to the card.

I started this A2 card using white card stock for the base of the card.  I took a piece of watercolor paper and Twisted Citron, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Broken China, Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean distress inks and did the same process of rubbing the inks onto the craft mat and spritzed them with water and running the paper through it and then spritzing again and letting the paper dry.

When the paper was dry I cut it out with the Waffle Flower Lacy Layers 2 die and added that to the base of the card. I then gathered together my black ink, Lavinia Stamps Josie, the wish big stamp, Cheery Lynn Cattails and Reeds die and some green paper.  I took the black ink and stamped Josie onto the paper and then I stamped wish big onto the paper.  I took green paper and the Cheery Lynn Cattails and Reeds die and cut that out and added that to the bottom of the card.

Here is this finished card
