To get things started I watercolored a panel of watercolor paper cut to 4.25 x 5.5 with some fall colors from my Gansai Tambi watercolor set. Once dry, I ran the panel through my die cutting machine using several rectangle dies from a lawn fawn rectangle set, to create several frames.
Meanwhile, I also cut several layers of the Thanks sentiment I will use, glued them all on top of each other before heat embossing with some reddish/brown embossing powder. That left me with 3 frames plus my sentiment.
I was going for a tunnel frame, with each layer a different heigh, so I started with my center later and sentiment, to make sure everything else would be in line around it. I centered it on the front of an a2 sized card panel.
From there I popped up the other frames with different sizes of foam squares, to have each frame higher than the next. I rotate the frame each time just to mix up the colors. To finish them off I splattered on some gold watercolor paint from the same Gansai Tambi set.
