Fun with Crazy Hats

Colleen from Scrappin Granny to share a fun layout with you.  Just in case you thought you could only use dies on cards, just wanted to show you that dies work great on your scrapbook pages as well.

I started this page by using white card stock and a stencil called Marine Land and some texture paste.

Once the paste was dry I added some mists to the page and created the look by both spraying and just dripping the spray onto the page.

While the mists were drying I used the Fish Net die by Amy Design to create the layers under the photo.  There are 2 fish nets under the photo..

Wanting to add more sea life to the page I fussy cut some fish from some paper I had and then I used the Secret Garden Flower die by Dee's Distinctivley Dies and wanted them to look like jelly fish and to me that is what they look like.  I added some eyes for an added effect.

I finished off the page using some alphabet letters by Provo Craft.  I hope you will give your dies a try and use them in a different way.

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store. For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.
