Winter Robin

Hello there and happy December!  I love to feed the birds and watch their fun antics at the feeders.  My three kitties like to sit at the window and watch them too.  We call it "Cat TV"!  Birgit here with you today with a pretty winter bird card.  It looks like a scene you'd see out your window.  

I started by cutting a Dee's Distinctively Pine Sprig Frame out of olive green cardstock.  

I  rubbed some Crushed Olive Distress Ink and Ripe Avocado ink to add depth and interest.  

 I mounted that onto a water colored panel and then mounted it onto an A2 sized white card base. 

Next, I cut the Dee's Distinctively Winter Robin out of white cardstock and added color using distress inks.  

Once the bird was assembled, he perched himself onto the pine branch.
