Christmas time is fast approaching

Colleen from Scrappin Granny to share a couple of Christmas cards I made using the same dies.

I used the same dies for both of these card.  I just LOVE the Holly Border by Yvonne Creations.  This die is just so versatile and that is why I am showing you both cards.  The first card in blue was made using the entire die to create the top portion of the card.

Once I used the die to cut out the top, I glued it onto a cream piece of paper and then cut around the bottom.

Once that was done, I used pop dots to pop it up a bit on the card.  I also added a few pearls to finish off the top.

The red card top was done the same way but for the sides of the card I only used a portion of the die to cut out what I wanted.  This is one of the reasons I love this die, you have so many options of how to use it.

To finish off both cards I used the Merry Christmas die by Pink & Main.  This is another die that you can use in a couple different ways.  I used just the Merry Christmas for the blue card.

While on the red card I used the back surround along with the Merry Christmas.  I just love it when you can use dies in multiple ways, don't you?  You get more bang for your buck.
