Pretty in lavender birthday card

Colleen from Scrappin Granny sharing with you a pretty in lavender birthday card made for my wonderful and awesome daughter-in-law.

I started with a couple of papers and cut both of them out with the beautiful die from Jeanine's Art called Garden Classics. Once I had the papers cut they weren't exactly what I wanted so I cut another one with just white cardstock and liked the looks so much better.

I added a scrap piece of paper underneath the bottom so that a lighter color would show through the die cutting.

I did some hand stitching around all the little holes with some thread and then added pearls around the outside of the oval. I used some of the cut out swirls to add to the upper right hand corner.

I finished up the outsider of the card using the Little B Happy Birthday die and cut out 2 different colors and layered them on top of each other as well as using a little blue flower.

For this card I wanted to add a little color to the inside so I used a punch and punched out the 2 pieces of paper and layered them on top of each other and finished with the same colored thread as I used on the front of the card.
