Lots of Layers!

Vickie Y sharing an elegant sunflower card with you.

I enjoy creating with die sets that can be layered together such as the Frantic Stamper Elements #19 - Petal Frames.  I like the elegant look of this classy die set to create a layered background for my card.

I love sunflowers so I chose to embellish my card using the Cheery Lynn Sunflower die.  I die cut using watercolor paper and layered three of the flowers together to give it dimension.  Each die cut was colored using Zig Real Color Real Brush pens and an aqua brush.  After coloring each flower I used a flower shaping tool to curl the petals before layering together.

Here is a closeup of the sunflower.  The leaves were die cut from the Frantic Stamper Assorted Foliage die set.
