Garden Flowers

Hi, it's Marsha here with another card using Elizabeth Craft Design dies of roses and jasmine.

I love the Susan's Garden collection of dies.  Each time I purchase one, I think "this is my favorite".  So my new favorite is the Rose 3.  Cutting out all the pieces is a snap because you can cut quite a few of the petals at one time. You can see in the picture below how many petals you can cut at the same time.  For these roses I used a different color of cardstock for each rose.  For me, taking the time to sponge a bit of ink on the edges of each petal and then assembling them is relaxing and therapeutic.

The other set of dies I used was Jasmine.   I really like to use these as fillers for a bouquet.

After assembling all the flowers, I attached those and the leaves onto my "go to " Stitched Oval" also by Elizabeth Crafts Designs.
Of course, it is always fun to find a pieces of designer paper the the same theme as the die cuts, so the oval full of flowers went on top of one of my last pieces of this tablet of beautiful papers.

I hope you've enjoyed what I've shared today!  And, don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.
