Faerie Note

Hello Dies R Us fans!  Birgit back with you today with a darling little note from the fairies.

Here's a snapshot of the products I used to make today's project:

Here's how I made it:
I started by cutting the Memory Box Wildflower Oval Frame out of soft green cardstock and a scrap of fun polka dotted printed paper.  I inlaid the printed paper into the soft green oval frame, using washi tape on the back to hold it in place.

I die cut the Poppystamps Mushrooms and Toadstools out of white cardstock, adding color using Distress Inks and then assembled them together.

I cut the Poppystamps Magnificent Mini Faeries out of white cardstock that had double sided adhesive attached to the top.  Once they were die cut, I peeled the release sheet from the top of the dies and added Elizabeth Craft Silk Microfine Glitter to the bodies and their wings and then assembled the faeries.  They're so magical in real life!
See the tiny hearts?  Those are actually negative pieces cut from the wings.  I added those to the mushrooms.

I assembled the card and added a sentiment banner from Marianne Designs.  Dies R Us offers special order events when you can order amazing dies from several European companies.  Marianne Designs is one of them.  Be sure to sign up for their e-mails so you can be the first to know about these special  order events.
