Bohemian Style!

Vickie Y (a child of the 60's!) sharing a "bohemian style" card with you today!

A bit of Urban Trivia about the word Bohemian!  There is a country called Bohemia and way back in the 15th Century the Bohemians left their country so they become known as wanderers; along the way many of the Bohemians decided to make a little money to exist by creating music, writings, poetry, and art work!  Artists!  Of course, there is more to the story, but for today's trivia the focus is on art, Bohemian Style!

Now, back to my card!  The background paper has a tie-dye look that I associate with the 1960s!  The dies I used with the paper are from Cheery Lynn Designs called Bohemian Words.

I first die cut the Bohemian Words set using white cardstock and colored the words Love and Hello using Chameleon markers; the word Peace was die cut using a turquoise card stock.

As I arranged the images on the colorful paper I decided to pop-up the Love die cut using dimensionals.

This was a very quick card to create using only one set of dies found in the Dies R Us online store.

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.
