Live In The Sunshine

Good Monday Morning!

Donna Phelan here again with another card to share with you!

I die cut the Picket Fence by Amy Design twice out of card stock and then layered them together.  Then I used different inks to create a distress, weather-worn look, just by swiping the pad directly on to the card stock.

Sponged in my sky and sand so I would know where to place my fence, foliage and sea life.

The sea life were die cut using the Sand Dollar And Starfish by Cheery Lynn.  I used a glitter paper for each, you can see the shimmer and shine in the light.  I also added some greenery, die cutting Foliage 2 by Paper Smooches in 2 different shades of green card stock.  Added some seagulls in flight and my sentiment, stamped in Black Licorice ink.

I also added a bit of Stickles to mimic sand.
Can you feel the cool breeze, and smell the light scent of cocoa butter in the air?

  5. Ooooh, Donna! Not just a card, but a walk on the beach, and a scene full of gifts from the sea! I can smell the fresh salt air, and the hear the gentle blowing of the wind as your waves crash just beyond the sight line of your card! It's a magnificent creation, and such wonderful details. Thanks for explaining how you achieved all the colors and textures!
