50th Anniversary

Good Monday Morning!
Donna Phelan here again with another card to share with you!
I have many anniversaries these coming months for friends, family and clients.  This one is for a very special couple celebrating their 50th anniversary!!!  I thought a little white and kraft card stock accented with gold foiling would make for a striking combo.  On the inside I added 2 Heart String dies by Penny Black.  Using several Spellbinders dies; A-2 Fancy Ribbon Threader, Lacy Squares and Heart Circles I created my base.  The 50 is Heat Embossed in Gold.

The Wheat Heads by Cheery Lynn as well as the double punched hearts were cut from Toner Paper and then foiled in gold with my Mini Minc Machine.  The detail on the Wheat Heads is amazing!  The hearts are pristine, that 'mark' is just a reflection from the camera, it's hard to capture the shimmery gold in a photo.
A little gold ribbon and a few adhesive pearls for accent.  Each layer has a fun foam backing which gives the card more dimension.  It also makes it nice and sturdy for mailing purposes.

We just celebrated our 28th anniversary.....50 would be something to see!
Don't forget to join in all of the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st & 15th of each month, with a gift voucher prize to one lucky winner.
And in case you were wondering, why YES we do have a  FB Page and PINTEREST Page.  Come check us out!

  1. Beautiful anniversary card Donna, it's just fabulous. You have mixed so many dies together to give a gorgeous effect, something I ought to try more often!
I am sure the special couple were over the moon to receive this celebratory card.

  2. What a beauty this is Donna! Love the touches of gold and all those fabulous layers!! I'm sure the newly weds will love this card. ;0)

  3. Beautifully done, the gold foiling is a lovely touch and I think that the wheat heads would make great filler for a bouquet too!!

  4. Just stunning Donna! I love all the gorgeous detail and gold elements ... just PERFECT!

  5. How wonderful, Donna! I really love the golden details combined with the kraft CS, and the fabulous layers - Kraft does not usually lend itself to elegance, but you certainly have achieved that! Your choice of die cuts is so interesting, with the hearts looking elegant and classy, instead of cute or sweet. And the two metallic hearts with the swish of "greenery" is VERY classy! It's a fantastic design. Wouldn't it make a great birthday card, too? Congrats to the happy couple!

  6. This is simply a beautiful creation. Love the details on the wheat heads. I need to pull out my minc machine. Love, love the composition.
