Hi Everyone!
It's Ann again with my favorite kind of card to make -- Halloween! There are so many cute Halloween dies on the market; but for this card, I really liked the Impression Obsession Mini Ghosts because of their smiles. They are such happy ghosts.
Before I go any further, here are the dies I used on this card:
If any of these dies show in the Dies R Us Store as "Out of Stock", you can put your name on the waiting list to be notified when they are back in stock.
So, the trick to making this card was in trying to get the background inked the way I wanted it. I started off by masking the moon and inking around it with two shades of yellow ink, followed by the purple ink. After the ink had dried, I rubbed on some gilding wax in gold and purple to give the area some shine.
The dies were the treat -- I just cut out the dies I wanted to use and placed them so they all fit on the card. That can't get any sweeter.
I especially love this "Trick or Treat" word die. It's just the right font for my Halloween cards.
