Spring Wreath...

Hi it's Robin and here is my design of the week for Dies R Us, your on line "super store" for dies.  It's so nice to shop at one site, knowing you are getting a GREAT selection and price!

I showed a sneak peek last week of my design and here is the entire card.  This design again uses Memory Box Norrland Flower die, but this time I used it as a flower, not a four leaf clover! It's amazing what you can create with just one die.

I used two wreath dies, Trulani Wreath from Poppystamps and Bramble Circle from Memory Box.  I made a snip in the Bramble Circle and wove it into the Trulani Wearth; I felt both wreaths, together, added to the design.

The flowers were created using card stock in complimentary colors. For the greenery I used my go-to dies for foliage, Memory Box Winterberry Sprig and Penny Black Leaves set.

The card is layered with a faint damask paper from K&Co and a sentiment from Penny Black (Gratitude) was added.  The white card stock is embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then sponged with Distress Antique Linen. I cut a circle using Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circle die and adhered the wreath.  Foam pop-ups give the embossed panel with the wreath a bit of depth.  Greenery and flowers were added along with white pearls in the center of the flowers.

Until next week… thanks for stopping by, Robin!

Love the flowers you made and the foliage peice that mirrors the die...genius! I also like that the center is a different color with an awesome sentiment and it is all framed with a wonderful EF and matting! Love it!

  4. By the way Robin, just a bit of a heads up...I couldn't find where you signed your blog ...if I had not read in a previous comment that it was your work I wouldn't know it was yours. I know you are all assigned days but few of us memorize things like that so maybe next time you might sign you name at the end? Maybe it is there and I just missed it...if so, please forgive this....
