Quick and Simple

Happy Thursday everyone! Here is my design of the week for Dies R Us! It's amazing how fast and easy it is to create a card using dies; a little sponging, some foam pop ups, a simple sentiment and poof, your card is done!

This thank you card starts with a piece of kraft paper, corners rounded, edges sponged with Distress Ink Walnut Stain and layered onto a white card base. A blue card stock by BoBunny is cut with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals. The clouds were added using a Cloud Stencil from Inky Antics and some Summer Sky from Memento ink.

The birdhouses were cut from Die-Namites Fancy Birdhouses die; the birdhouse on the left has the silhouette of a bird perched on it. I re cut the left birdhouse from a scrap of yellow paper, cut out the bird and glued the bird on top, covering the original bird.

The banner is from the Paper Smooches Streamers Set and is stamped with a sentiment from Avery Elle. TIP: If your banner has a curve and your sentiment is a clear cling type of stamp, you can curve your stamp slightly, on the acrylic block, to fit the banner.

To finish the card small birds, cut from Impression Obsessions Small Bird Set, were added to the sky and sentiment.

See, quick and simple! Using dies makes life much easier and purchasing your dies at Dies R Us is quick and simple. DRU represents many die companies, that's why they are your one stop shopping store!

Until next week… thanks for stopping by, Robin!
