Let's Get Fancy!

Hello, again die fans!

Welcome back to another day of inspiration!  I decided today I would share a couple of dies with you that will allow you to create an amazing card that looks like a pro did it!  If you have ever seen the fancy accordion cards in magazines or online & thought they were beyond anything you wanted to tackle, then think again!  These beautiful and complicated looking cards are not complicated at all!  In fact, once you do your first one, you are going to want to do one for everyone on your card list! They are easily created using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Accordion Oval Card die #ECD-772. Although you can decorate the panels any way you desire, I used one of the frame edges made especially for the die (Elizabeth Craft Designs Oval Flourish Frame Edges #ECD-777) as I love the look it gives your finished card.  Here is a photo of my finished card as it appears completely folded and flat for mailing.

This is a beautiful card isn't it?  But just wait until you open it!!

This is the front side of the finished card as it appears once you open it.  The center ovals are all connected and appear to "float" through the card.
This is the back side of your finished card. With all the surfaces available for sentiments or images, your decorating choices are virtually endless!
This is how your card will look before you connect the tabs which allow the ovals to float through your card. You will decorate your panels before you connect the ovals. Don't worry if it looks complicated! There are really simple instructions with the die. It is literally 4 steps to complete this gorgeous card! And I guarantee anyone you send this card to is going to feel really special!

Be sure to check out the rest of the amazing dies we carry at Dies R Us!  We are adding new dies and new companies all the time. You no longer have to order from several companies & pay separate shipping when everything you need is all under one company now.

Don't forget to stop back each day to check out the amazing cards our design team has for you!  And if you have any questions, feel free to ask!  I'll see you again next Wednesday! Enjoy the rest of your week!

  3. This is way cool! Love the way you decorated it too! I especially liked the die you used for the edges and I put myself on the waiting list figuring I will come up with the money some how to get it. I LOVE the fact you can make square cards with it as well.
