Don't Forget to Wear Green...

Hi, it's Robin, with my first post as a Design Team member for Dies R Us!  I am excited to share my designs with you on a weekly basis along with the amazing designs from the DT membersThis is our first week and we are off to a great start!

My card uses Memory Box Norrland Flower die along with Impression Obsession Mini Rectangle Tags 1 die.  Although the Norrland Flower die is generally used to make a layered flower on a stem, it has always reminded me of a four leaf clover; so, with St Patrick's Day around the corner I couldn't resist. I used a shamrock embossing folder from Darice to create the background which is layered with emerald green cover stock.

After die cutting the shamrocks and stems I gave them a light sponging with Memento Bamboo Leaves and placed a small green pearl in the center of each. I assembled the shamrock bouquet  before placing on the card.

The next step was to stamp my sentiment, cut out the sentiment with Impression Obsession's Mini Rectangle Tag, give the tag a light sponge on the edges and added another pearl. After adhering the bouquet to the card, the tag was added with a small foam pop-up; a bakers twine bow finishes the card.

My design for next Thursday makes use of this SAME die along with a few other dies to create a completely different look. Here is a peek at my next design.

Until next week… thanks for stopping by!
