Baby Girl Layered Card

 Hello Friends,

Diane here to share with you my latest card I made using the adorable rocking horse die by Cheapo Dies purchased from Die R Us.  This fabulous little die is perfect for those sweet baby cards, invitations and gender reveal parties.  Come take a look.

I created this card with papers by Doodlebug designs, called "Fairy Tales".  This is an adorable colorful girly paper with lots of unicorns, rainbows, happy clouds, castles and flowers.  I layered up lots of elements for this card design.

Here is a close up of the rocking horse die.  I cut it several times and glued the die cuts together for added dimension.  This card measures 6x6.  The castle paper was cut to about 5 3/4 x 5 3/4.  The purple paper was cut a little smaller and embossed with the ribbons embossing folder.  The banner was cut from the designer paper.  It measures about 2 1/2 x 5. The notebook paper with the hearts at the bottom is an Odds & Ends from the paper collection.  The cross stitched hearts were cut with pink fun foam using the Cross Stitch Nesting Hearts from Tutti Designs purchased from Dies R Us.  The sentiment was stamped in pink ink using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings stamp set.

Wonderful in every way using Memory Box Butterfly Heart

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's Rosie here today showing you how to create a simple, colorful card using 1 die and rainbow patterned paper! I absolutely love this die from Memory Box called BUTTERFLY HEART. I think it makes a dramatic presentation on any card.

Let's Get Started!

Step 1: This die does not cut all the way through which is the brilliant part. It just cuts the outer part of the wings of each butterfly so you can then pull the wings up to create dimension. I cut two butterfly hearts, one from white cardstock and one from rainbow patterned digital paper.

Step 2: I used a craft knife to cut out each butterfly from the rainbow paper. This was the time-consuming part of making this card. If you are short on time, you could just use markers to color each of the wings on the white cardstock. I was just worried I would get ink on the surrounding white areas.

Step 3: Match up and glue the rainbow butterflies on top of the white butterflies. I did one butterfly at a time to make sure I matched them up correctly.

Step 4: Find a sentiment you like and stamp it below the butterfly heart. Next, cut a piece of red cardstock at 4"x5.25" to go under the butterfly card panel which is 3.75"x5". Then, glue it to the white card base measuring 4.25"x5.50". The last step is to bend all the butterfly wings upward to create the dimension.

Here it is all assembled!

These are the products I used:

Memory Box Butterfly Heart

Mama Elephant Everyday Greetings

(this set is not in the store, but you can use any sentiment from your stash)

Thanks

Hi everyone I am ack with another post for Dies R Us and today I am sharing a thank you card for a dear friend of mine. I used a thanks die from Tutti Designs for the sentiment with gold foil paper and the stamp is from AALL & Create - Blooming Poppies #265

I stamped the image using black obsidian ink on blending paper and used my copic pens to color it.  I die cut the sentiment and adhered it to the bottom portion of the card since the card itself measures  5x7.5 a nice size.  Perfect to write in and the stamp set itself is large so it covered the bulk of the card front.

Truly a stunning image and the sentiment is perfect to give it some added flair.  I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks so much for stopping by (no pun intended hahah) funny not funny...

Sweet Bunny Friendship Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to share a sweet slim line card today.

I began by stamping the rabbit on white cardstock.  After coloring with Copic Markers, I added some grass using Peeled Paint Oxide Ink.

Realizing I wanted to create a slim line card, I adhered pink cardstock to the panel, then die cut the panel with the 2nd largest die.  Using the Best Glue Ever, I adhered ribbon at the seam.

The card was created using the largest of the dies and the panel was added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

I added a phrase that was stamped with black ink, die cut and matted with a larger die.  It was also added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Thanks for stopping by.

Wooly Lucky

Anne here from Anne-Made and I'm up today on the DRU Inspiration Blog. Since it's St. Patrick's Day today, I wanted to share a cute card with you.

Before we get started though, I'd like to remind everyone that the DRU Inpsiration team is having a DT Call. You can find out all the details HERE. The call closes today, so don't wait to apply.

Now for more info about my card.  I used the following products from Dies R Us

To start off, I die cut the next to largest banner twice, once from a dark shade of green cardstock and once from a lighter shade of green.

Next, using the shamrock die from the Pot o Gold die set, I cut out several shamrocks from the lighter color cardstock. I wanted to use the negative space for today's project, so save those shamrocks for a future project. I then adhered the two banners together.

I had a cute little St Patrick's Day stamp set that I used for the front of the card. After stamping the image, I fussy cut it out and colored it with Copic markers.  I added Fairy Hugs  Shamrock glitter to the shamrocks on his blanket.

I wanted a bit more bling, so I die cut the largest banner from white cardstock and added more of the Shamrock glitter to the edges.

While die cutting this last piece the negative portion from the die cut gave me the idea of using it for my sentiment. So I flipped it over to create a space below my focal point.

Here's one final look of today's project.
