Cheery Lynn May Flowers

Hello DRU Inspiration blog followers, Alicia here today with some May flowers from Cheery Lynn Designs to brighten your day!  I have layered these beautiful die cuts on a napkin card.  I also fancied up the card base with the  Frantic Stamper Lovely Arched Loop Edge Lattice Insert die.  I believe I will use this edger a lot in  It comes in two pieces so you don't have to use the lattice, but it looks perfect together. the future.

Here's a close up so you can see the dimension of the flowers and leaves after molding them with just my fingers.  I also added some glossy accents to some areas.  Check out the detail on these dies.

Sending Smiles ~ A Pop-Up Card

Good morning DRU fans!  Today's card is all about inspiring us to send some "Happy Mail" just to brighten someone's day.  Let's do our part to keep snail mail alive!
Birgit here with you today with a cheerful pop-up card...

Let's get started!

I cut the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Pop Up out of some green card stock.  and adhered it to the inside of an A-2 sized card base and added a few clouds from Memory Box Stitched Cloud Trio.

I cut three Frantic Stamper Sunflowers out of white card stock and colored them using distress inks.  I then tucked the flowers into a Cheery Lynn Nested Flower Pot that was cut from Kraft card stock and colored in the same way
This mailbox from Lawn Fawn Happy Mail is so darling cut out of pretty printed paper.

The letter inside the mailbox unfolds to reveal a sweet message for the recipient.

Two Elizabeth Craft Designs Birds add a fun and whimsical touch as this little birdie delivers the message.

Here's the outside of the card.  It is completely flat when folded for mailing....

and a fun card with lots of dimension when opened!

Mix & Match Diecuts

Hi, Joyce Erb here today. I made a card with diecuts from several different companies today. I am also on a mission to use my background stash:-) I'll be doing videos for some of the backgrounds used soon so be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel:-)

You can see the layering on the video. I just had a selection of diecuts that I glued onto a background. Using dies is a great way to make a quick and easy card that will WOW the recipient!

Happy Birthday Cards

Hello Dies R Us Friends
and welcome back to another inspirational posting.
Darlene with you today sharing not one but TWO birthday cards that
are easy, fun and VERY mailable!!

 How easy is this!
I was playing around with my new Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks last week and had a few panels sitting on my worktable so thought this one would look nice on a birthday card.    I also had this 'frame' which was left over from another project so why not use it too and help showcase my Poppy Stamps 'Jumbled Happy Birthday' sentiment die.  A few added Nuvo crystal drops and my card is ready to mail!

Poppystamps - Dies - Jumbled Happy Birthday

The blue frame was created using Tutti Designs 'Nesting Stitched Rectangles' dies.

My second card (as I said) utilizes the same Poppy Stamps sentiment die but I used it a little differently since I wanted to share this fun Tutti Designs 'Balloon Corner' die on my card and the sentiment was too long to position the word Birthday  'as a whole'!

So, I simply snipped the 'day' from the birthday and placed it on the bottom with 3 dots following from Nuvo crystal drops.  I also filled the little openings in the balloons with various colors of Nuvo crystal drops for a touch of color.

Remember, each an every day of the month there's a new inspiration sample being shared by this fabulous design team.  Please be sure to pop in regularly.

I hope you've enjoyed what I've shared today!  And, don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Something Special for Mom

Mother's Day will be here in just a few days.  I always make my mom (now 94 years old) a special card, one that I put more time into than just my normal A2 cards.
Hi.  Marsha here with another accordion card again using Elizabeth Crafts Designs Accordion Dies.

These cards are so fun to make!  but so difficult to photograph !
In a previous post, I showed you how to put these together.  There are also excellent videos by Elizabeth Crafts Designs on how to assemble.
On this card I used several of the dies that come with the set.

This is one that I like to use , first stamping an image or sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by...I hope I have inspired you in some way today.  Remember to stop by and play along with the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  Use your die cuts to inspire us!

Whimsical "Best Wishes"!

Vicki here sharing some weekend inspiration with you.
Today I have a fun, and basically simple card made entirely of cardstock.

The 6 x 6 card base has three additional layers in turquoise, green and white.

I wanted to create a background that matched the cardstock layers so I pulled out two mist colors and lightly sprayed the white cardstock.  The Tattered Angels Seafoam and Dylusions Fresh Lime were a perfect match.
Next, I added a background design using the Poppystamps Background Scribble.  The "scribble" is cut from bronze glitter paper.  This is such an amazing die cut!  It reminds me of a swirling vortex.
I cut the Tutti Designs "Best Wishes" from both colors of cardstock and layered one over the other for a shadow effect.

The final embellishments on the card are these awesome sequins that I recently won from Crafter's Corner.  I was impressed with how many different shapes and designs are in the jars!
I love the fun, whimsical feel this card gives me!

I used the die cuts shown below...both are available in the Dies R Us Store.
