Masculine Sympathy Card

Good morning friends of Dies R Us ~ Birgit here today and I'm so happy to be joining you for another  term with the  Dies R Us Design Team!  Thanks so much to Dani and Darlene for the wonderful opportunity to join their amazing team.

Sympathy cards are never easy to make when needed so why not make a few when the sun is shining, the birds are singing and it's a good day!
I started by embossing the Frantic Stamper Sun Rays Quilted Card Panel onto white card stock and cutting another piece of white card stock using a Poppystamps Stitched Landscape die.

I adhered the landscape over the bottom portion of the sun rays and cut the entire panel out using an Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangle

I cut the Impression Obsession Small Deer out of white card stock and added a bit of Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink around the edges.

Once the card was assembled I added a partial stamped sentiment with the larger Sympathy Die from Tutti Designs.  This is a great set of dies as there are two sizes included so you'll always have the perfect size.

Here's a list of dies I used that can be found at Dies R Us:

Happy Birthday

Deanna here with another inspirational post for the Dies R Us inspirational blog.  Today I have a birthday card for you.

I started by die cutting the Frantic Stamper Birthday Grid on some orange patterned paper.

Next I taped a stencil down to some white card stock and using some Nuvo Glitter Paste in white and a pallet knife I added some glitter to the card stock and let it dry.
Can you see all the glitter on the card stock.  When it is dry it doesn't rub off so it is a great way to add glitter to a project.  Once the glitter paste was dry I finished my card.  The sentiment was cut from Tutti Designs Happy and Birthday word dies.  I used the smaller set of words from the dies.

The dies I used in this project are pictured below.
