Winter Wonderland

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman back today wishing you a beautiful day. With the cold days of winter coming up, thought this die would make an amazing card. It's a full sized background die card and creates a wonderful card.

Using white cardstock, I die cut the Amy Design Vintage Winter Village Frame Straight die for the card front.

Wanting a dramatic background, I adhered this die cut panel to a purple/black panel then added it to another white panel. Finally, it was added to a black card.

Next, I added Ranger Liquid Pearls to the lights and windows and Nuvo Drops to add dimension to the snowflakes.

I stamped the phrase on white cardstock and die cut it using Tutti Designs Oval Nesting Dies.

For dimension, the phrase to the card with foam adhesives.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman back today wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving and hoping you are enjoying your Thanksgiving holiday and not eating too much turkey!!!

I created an easel card in rich fall colors then placed a piece of burlap on top as I wanted to add a rustic feel to my card. Then I wrapped the panel with some coordinating ribbon.

Using a Tutti Designs cornucopia die, I die cut it from 2 colors of Rinea Foiled Paper. If you haven't noticed, I love to do paper piecing and I wanted to piece together the pumpkin within the cornucopia.

Needing a base to adhere the cornucopia to (so I could do my paper piecing), I die cut 2 different sized ovals, then used the Best Glue Ever to glue the cornucopia in place. Next, I glued the various pumpkin pieces in place.

I adhered the cornucopia panel to the front panel using foam adhesives for dimension then slipped a tag behind it to fill in some of the space above it.

To hold the card upright, I stamped and die cut a phrase and placed it on the card with foam adhesives for dimension. Thanksgiving was also stamped and placed on the tag, filling in some additional space on the card.

Harvest Blessings Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman back today sharing a scarecrow card for Fall.

I love Fall and fell in love with this scarecrow.

I used both dies in the Lawn Fawn Slimline dies set to create this card. On the top layer I stamped a scarecrow in brown ink. Because I wanted him to take center stage on the card, I stamped the scarecrow a second time, colored him with Copic Markers, then fussy cut him.

Using Tuti Designs Oval dies, I cut 6 of the smallest die and arranged them to create 2 different sized pumpkins, inking the edges with brown ink before gluing each pumpkin together. Then I added some greenery and cut off the bottoms of each.

The colored scarecrow and pumpkins were added to the card with foam adhesives for added dimension.

Sweet Butterfly Card

Hi everyone Steph back with another project for Dies R Us.

Create a card from Lavender cardstock. Die cut assorted butterflies from foiled papers.

Using the Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop Die, die cut from silver foiled paper and adhere to the card with Best Glue Ever. Assemble the butterflies and add them to the card, adhering just their bodies, letting their wings fly free.

Add a strip of cardstock across the card. Stamp sentiment of choice on foiled paper with black ink and lightly emboss. Die cut with oval dies and add to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

A Time to Reflect.....

Hi everyone Steph back with another project for Dies R Us.

Select a background of choice or create your own using an assortment of inks. Stamp the Spotty Toadstool in black ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Stamp 2 fairies from the Three Dancing Fairies stamp set around the toadstool. Die cut the panel plus 2 additional panels with Lawn Fawn Rectangle dies.

Adhere the panels together, then add to a white card. Stamp the phrase on white cardstock and mat with purple cardstock. Add to card with 3D foam adhesives.
